About the site

A small family run site in the heart of the Ribble Valley, boasting stunning views over Longridge Fell. This adult only site offers a peaceful retreat away from daily life in a rural setting, but with nearby links, including the M6, to explore the wider area. Onsite, there are three electric hardstanding pitches, measuring 6.5m x 6m, as well as 11 larger 8.5m x 8m electric hardstanding pitches. Each pitch is equipped with a 16 amp electric hook up, and is set within beautifully landscaped grounds offering level ground and water no more than 3m away. Most pitches have direct access to water. Please note that pitches are suitable for trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes only. Seasonal pitches are available. The site's rural setting means you will be immersed in nature. Local roe deer, pheasants, rabbits and even a heron have been known to visit regularly. Dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Open fires, including BBQs, campfires, and open fire pits are not permitted onsite, but the site does allow raised gas BBQs.

Northwood Caravan and Holiday Park is open on the following dates for 2026: 01/01 to 04/01, 08/03 to 21/12 and 28/12 to 31/12. Pitches from £38/night for 2 people.

Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026

We have just spent 2 nights here and it was fantastic. Walter is a lovely chap very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lisa his lovely wife sent over via text all the great locations to stop off and the dog friendly pubs which was great. We will definitely be staying again and we love the fact that it’s an all green campsite so we joined in and converted to helping the planet. We are are now team Solbio from here on out 😍 5 stars from us.

Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2025

Lovely site and friendly warden immaculately kept facilities, close to M6 only 10 minutes or so easy on off great restaurants next door Indian and Italian. Good sized flat pitches well maintained quite a few seasonal pitches but everyone spoke. Which is always a bonus.

Site's response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a 5/5 review. We are very lucky to be well located 10 minutes from the M6 but in the countryside. The two restaurants next door are a massive bonus for us! See you again in the future Lisa
