Yurt - Acorn Yurt with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly)Mar 2024

The site was easy to find and fairly remote which made it very quiet. It wasn't far from Windermere and Fell Foot, by car, to explore some lovely walks. The facilities onsite were clean and the small shop was useful with welcoming staff. The yurt was cosy with the stove to heat it up and the hot tub stayed hot with just a few logs to top it up after it was pre-lit for us.

Great short stay

Large Tent - Premium Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

Small, yet very well laid out. Despite the weather a very relaxing and chilled experience. Very peaceful with beautiful surroundings.

VW-Type Campervan - Premium Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

A Beautiful and quiet site. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The facilities were basic, but clean and adequate. There was a great little shop that even had coffee made in morning. A lovely walk to the Derby Arms which is a friendly pub that had a good crack with locals and staff. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for another stay soon.

VW-Type Campervan - Premium Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

Veronica was very welcoming when we arrived. All facilities are well-maintained and spotless. The shop has all you might need and is reasonably priced too. There are yurts on the site with hot tubs that look amazing. We will definitely be returning to stay in one of those ☺️

VW-Type Campervan - Premium Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

Good site, in a remote area, would recommend for a nice quiet stay. Lots of walking available from the site but nearest pubs/shop was a good 45min - 1hr walk away. Facilities were nice but very cold and showers weren't the cleanest but with flip flops it would be fine! A shop onsite was good with most essentials.

Best quiet sleep for ages

Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass PitchesOct 2023

Brilliant site, in the middle of nowhere. Quiet, quaint, and friendly, staff were perfect, and very helpful. The ground was a bit rocky underground to get the tent pegs in, but that could just be that one pitch, and we overcame that. All in all, an excellent site, and they offer yurts and log cabins. Campfires are allowed, as are BBQs. What more could you want in a campsite?

Yurt - Poppy Yurt with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly)Oct 2023

We had a lovely stay in Clover yurt. The campsite was clean and had nice shower and washing up facilities, communal fridge and freezer. And access at a cost to a washing machine and drier. Our only criticism would be that the yurt cost a lot to keep warm during our stay. As did the hot tub.
