About the site
Guests can enjoy a peaceful stay at this family friendly glamping site, set in a two acre field on the Llyn Peninsula. Just ten minutes from sandy beaches and scenic coastal paths, you will be well located for seaside adventures. Each handcrafted wooden pod includes luxury bedding, Welsh wool blankets and hot water bottles, offering a cosy stay in any weather. You will also have a smart TV/radio, seating, kettle, cutlery and dishes, small fridge, bedside tables, lamps and towels. Porth Ferin and Porth Iago sleep two and include a king size bed and rustic log burner. The rest of the pods sleep four in a double and a sofa bed, with underfloor heating instead. Porth Ysgo also has ramped access, suitable for wheelchairs and prams. All of the pods are just a short walk from the communal toilets and shower block, though the Porthor, Porth Neigwl, Porthorion and Porth Wisgi pods do also feature their own ensuite toilet. Outside of your pod, you will find a picnic bench, BBQ and fire pit, with wood for sale on site. On arrival, guests will receive a welcome hamper of local produce, and there's a communal kitchen equipped with a kettle, microwave, toaster and gas hob for preparing meals. A wood fired pizza and bar is open every night during school holidays and Friday to Sunday out of season. You can order a take away or sit down inside or outside. They have a huge fire pit out side and a large log burner inside. The site serves local beer, fresh wood-fired pizzas, homemade cakes and ice cream. For more action, the site offers Airsoft games, and activities like water sports, golf, horse riding and go-karting are all within a 30 minute drive. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs allowed per pod.
