About the site
Escape to the Lake District at this relaxed, family friendly park. Set in the landscapes of the Lake District only five minutes to Coniston Water, it is a great base for days of hiking, water sports, boat trips or simply exploring waterside villages and towns. Sleeping up to two, the cosy camping pods come equipped with a double futon bed, along with camping chairs. Lighting, heating and electric are all included too. Shared facilities can be found nearby, guests will just need to bring along their own bedding, cooking equipment/utensils and toiletries. The luxury ensuite glamping pods are perfect for those holidaying as a family of four. Inside is a double pull-down bed, bunk bed, wardrobe and bedding. For unwinding indoors, there is a TV/DVD player and Bluetooth speakers. For cooking, the pod has its own kitchen area with a kettle, toaster, gas hob, microwave and fridge, along with pots, pans and crockery. Your private modern ensuite includes a shower, sink and toilet. The ensuite glamping cabins can sleep up to six, furnished with a double bed, fold out double bed and a mezzanine level with twin beds. It also has its own living area, TV/DVD player, wardrobe, ensuite with loo and shower, plus a kitchen equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, cafetiere, fridge, crockery and tableware. For wheelchair users, the ensuite accessible glamping cabin provides level access, along with heavy duty flooring, wide entry doors and a turning circle of a minimum of 1.5m where needed. There is a custom built kitchen with a kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, microwave, tableware and utensils. There is also a twin bed with orthopaedic mattresses, a separate bunk room and a wardrobe. The glamping pods and cabins feature a private outdoor decking area with a table, chairs and a parasol for shading from the summer sun. The accessible cabin has its own outdoor bistro set. All three come with a brick built BBQ along with a disposable BBQ for cooking up dinner in the outdoors. The site is beside Coniston Water, the camping pods are the closest type of accommodation if you are there for water activities, from the other types you need to walk through the site. Please note, that you can't see Coniston Water from the pods and cabins. Please note, the glamping units are pet free but the camping area is dog friendly so you may see some four-legged friends around the site.
