A 1 night stay for me and the pooch, everything was perfect. The pod came with a tv, fridge and heater. The walks are lovely. The site is well maintained and clean, I was more than happy.

Glamping - The GlampervanApr 2025

Where to start? This glamping site as a whole was fantastic. The showers and toilets were super clean, I could literally smell cleaning products when I first walked in, which is a good sign. There's a communal kitchen which has everything you could need to cook your meal for your family complete with washing area, clean dish towels, plenty of dish soap, and a seating area to fit a big family if you needed to. The area was safe and nicely lit without being too bright for sleeping. We loved that the area nearby was still quite wild for birds and other creatures to live, though perhaps the area would benefit from a wild flower area to encourage pollinators? There's plenty of opportunity as a business to provide eco friendly toys and activities that would definitely sell to visiting families. We usually take the opportunity to craft, do some art, or teach the children about activities you can do with the natural environment on these kinds of holidays (i would be happy to make some recommendations, the more people that take joy from the environment the better in my opinion). We stayed in the Glampervan, purely for the novelty because my neurodiverse son has an obsession with buses, trains, and planes recently, so he thoroughly enjoyed his sleepover in a big bus. The bus was great, it had a seating outside and inside, a BBQ, easy to move the seating into beds, a fridge, a kettle, and multiple power sources we mostly needed for charging our phones overnight. All the windows had working blinds, and the hosts were thoughtful enough to leave a squeegee to wipe down the windows in the morning (single glazing), which soon cleared with the sunshine anyway. We were only visiting for one night but we are already discussing a return trip at some point for a longer period of time. Thank you again.
