Rhos y Foel

Set on the Llyn Peninsula, family friendly Rhos Y Foel overlooks spectacular views of Moel y Penmaen and is just 15 minutes from the market town of Pwllheli. With grass, electric and fully serviced pitches, you're just ten minutes from the coast and 40 minutes from Snowdonia National Park (Eryri). There's plenty of space for little ones to run free here, with fire pits available to hire for a cosy evening toasting marshmallows. Dogs are welcome.

Welcoming families, couples and groups, there's a pitch to suit everyone. The ground is level and almost completely flat, so a bumpy groundsheet shouldn't be a problem here! Choose from non electric grass pitches for tents, roof tents and campervans, or electric grass pitches with a 10 amp hook up for tents, roof tents, trailer tents and campervans. Both measure 7m by 8m. There are also electric hardstanding pitches, measuring 9m by 8m with a 16 amp hook up suitable for roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes. Fully serviced hardstanding pitches measure 9m by 9m and include a 10 or 16 amp hook up, water hook up and drainage. For another day trip, Caernarforn is a 35 minute drive away, home to its impressive castle overlooking the River Seiont, medieval streets, independent shops and plenty of places to stop for lunch. Dogs are welcome too, with up to two permitted per pitch. BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised, and you can hire a fire pit onsite. Logs, kindling and firelighters are also available to buy, so you're all set for an evening around the fire.
