5 night stay

We have just returned home from a 5 night stay. The site, facilities and cafe are brilliant. The only downside for us personally was that there wasn't anything in walking distance to do. The steam train and Devil's Bridge can be fitted into one day. I definitely recommend the site though.

Touring Wales

Really lovely site with some attractions and walks close by. Small tea room on site. Very clean and welcoming.

Nice clean site

A nice clean site with excellent services, ideally placed to explore the mid-Wales uplands and the coast around Aberystwyth. A visit to the Kite feeding station and Nant Arian is a must.

Great campsite

Friendly people and clean facilities. Would highly recommend this place.

Excellent stay

Arrived a little early but wasn't a problem, at reception I was briefed on where we were staying, and told what we can do. Was given a map with lots of info. The pitch was massive plenty of room the campsite is immaculate. The showers were always clean the water hot too. There's a shop and a restaurant near reception and not too expensive It's less than 5 minute walk to devils bridge and the steam train. Also a pub that sells food too. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend it. It's family friendly and the kids will never be bored.

Very good campsite.

A very clean, tidy, well run campsite. Good café, excellent food and confectionary, friendly, efficient staff and service. Nice touches to the site with statues and adornments around the site. We have no criticisms.

An excellent stay

We cannot fault this campsite. Our hardstanding was a great size as we're all the pitches. The facilities were spotless. The water in the showers was lovely and hot. The crew on site were very pleasant and helpful. The cafe at the entrance was great. The surrounding area was beautiful. The site was so peaceful and laid out well. Can't think of anything negative.

One of the best campsites I have stayed at

Woodlands Caravan Park is one of the best sites I have stayed at. It is in a stunning location. The facilities are of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. It is a small, quiet site with an excellent cafe and shop on site. I can recommend the cream tea. It is a short walk from Devil's Bridge and the Rheidol Valley Steam Railway. Would definitely come here again.

Lovely campsite

Modern and very clean facilities, nice and quiet, and easy access to Aberystwyth. I wish we had stayed longer!

Excellent

Excellent camp site, very clean. The tearoom is highly recommended and the breakfast is first class. I really liked the old agricultural machinery that was dotted around and the cast animals are brilliant.# Will definitely come again.

Fantiastic site, 100% recommend!

We are a family of four, which includes two young children and our small dog. We were pitched at number 10 with a electric. The site was lovely and clean, very well kept and the bathroom facilities were the best we have had!! Facilities were always clean and warm. The play parks are fantastic and were always busy with children, ours loved them. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Steve the warden and his wife are lovely! Ready to help and quite funny! :) The breakfast at the cafe is top notch and the staff are lovely. We loved the site so much that we have booked to return in July, and it will now be our 'go-to' site. My only advice to fellow caravaners is to make sure you have everything you need, a decent shop is miles away.

Lovely site with friendly staff, plenty of activities nearby

We all had a lovely time here, the only drawback (or godsend depending on how you see it), was the limited Wi-Fi access.

Wonderful site with clean facilities

Wonderful campsite in a quiet area. Best facilities we've ever been to on a campsite very clean and tidy. Staff were extremely helpful.

Great location and excellent facilities

Brilliant site in a great location. spotlessly clean with clean facilities and plenty to do around the area with friendly staff. Only one negative point - we bought a different motorhome a week before our stay so I thought it would be a good idea to let them know as it was bigger than the one I booked for. 2 phone messages left and an email and they didn't respond to either.

Amazing

I have never stayed at a campsite that is so clean. The site is well spaced out with large pitches.

Fabulous site!

Great facilities, super clean. Friendly people. Quiet, peaceful. Kids had a great time too on the park. Food from the tea rooms takeaway also lovely. Most certainly will be returning

Outstanding

What a find! The most beautiful setting with gorgeous scenery. The site is spotlessly clean and well kept. The best toilet and shower facilities I've ever seen. Some lovely walks in the area and the steam train into Aberystwyth makes this site one to return to time and again. The café and shop at the entrance serves a great breakfast too. Disappointed that we could only stay one night, but we will be back! Only one gripe, the grey waste disposal point needs a rethink!

Fabulous park. Ideal location for Devils Bridge. Facilities are excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Fantastic camping

The campsite is absolutely fantastic. Facilities the best and cleanest I have ever used. Lots of play equipment away from the camping area, so young ones can be as loud as they like and have lots of fun. Tea Room attached to the site done amazing food. The short walk led us to the waterfalls and the steam train station was also within walking distance. Only downside was that I lost my mobile network completely, being with Tesco as my provider. Maybe this was not such a bad thing as I had complete peace from home. You could pay for the campsite Wi-Fi if you really needed it. Lovely views and scenery around and the staff were all so very friendly, would definitely recommend to everyone, regardless of age. Pitches were spaced out and really large so you felt like you had lots of room. All round, one of my favourite camping sites, and I have been to lots.

Amazing stay

We arrived late afternoon on the Friday and were greeted with friendly faces and helpful suggestions of where to go in the area. The campsite was lovely and all the facilities were amazing. The views were outstanding and so worth the climb up the hill behind the campsite. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Amazing stay

We absolutely loved our stay here, particularly the lack of phone and internet service! There are two hotspots on site though if you really need to connect! The facilities here are great and are kept clean to a very high standard. The staff here are so helpful. Go for a woodland walk to find the waterfall and pool, it’s cold but well worth it. Have a fabulous stay!

Perfect stay

Perfect little campsite for a family break with children. Well set up, very good facilities, clean, tidy, friendly, and a great location to venture out and do so much. Will definitely be back.
