The Anvil Inn accepts caravans and motorhomes, situated right in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and close to many local tourist attractions. These include HM The Queen's Sandringham Estate, the North Norfolk Coast, Norfolk seaside towns such as Cromer and Hunstanton as well as the local cities of Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough. There is much to see and do in this area with plenty to explore for all ages and interests.

About the site

The site itself is small, accommodating just six caravans or motorhomes. That mean it's very quiet and a real bolthole away from the hurly-burly of daily life. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and the coast is just a short drive away. Historic King's Lynn is only 5 miles away, with the small towns of Downham Market, Fakenham, Swaffham, Dereham and Wisbech all within very easy reach. Dogs are allowed on the site, but not in the indoor areas of The Anvil Inn. The locals are very friendly and welcoming and the owners and staff will always make you welcome. All in all, The Anvil Site is an idyllic home from home site.

The Anvil Inn pub is next door and serves great traditional home made pub food. Fresh drinking water is supplied but there are no shower or toilet facilities.

There is a direct rail line to London's King's Cross station from King's Lynn station and a coast hopper bus service operates during the summer months.

Things to do on site and in the King's Lynn area

Nearby there are lots of local historic attractions and several historic local country houses including the Royal Estate at Sandringham.

The Norfolk Coast isn't just a great spot for wildlife watching, it's packed with sweet seaside towns and a stunning AONB. Explore the length of this lovely area and stop off to enjoy The Wash, a fabulous nature reserve.
