About the site

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this small adult only site, perfect for peace and quiet and a connection with nature and wildlife. Is not only a must do for the intrepid birder, but a nature haven for wildlife enthusiasts. With only three, two person pitches why not book the cosy glamping pod which sleeps two with a double bed, food preparation area and sink it is ideal for couples. Or, pitch a tent on the sites two non-electric grass tent pitches. The pitches are spread across three paddocks for optimum privacy. For days out, you are just a 15 minute drive from the charming city of Chichester. Or, if you're looking to spend most of your holiday by the sea, the famous West Witterings beach is just 25 minutes away, great for wind and kite surfing. Swallows enjoy nesting in the barn every summer. Other visitors include woodpeckers, wagtails, owls and hawks, with flocks of dark-bellied brent geese during the autumn and winter. The site has direct footpath access to Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve which is also great for wildlife spotting. Fires are allowed, but it is weather dependent. Logs to be purchased on site

Things to do on site and in the Bognor Regis area

An ideal base for exploring all that the West Sussex Coast and the surrounding area has to offer.

You will be spoilt for choice if you want to spend the day at the beach. A five minute drive will take you to Pagham and Aldwick Beach, ideal for a day out nearby. The West Witterings are also just a 25 minute drive away, famed for its white sandy beach and fantastic wind and kite surfing.

Tangmere Military and Aviation Museum (20 minutes) is also a fascinating visit. With spectacular World War Two aircraft, a Battle of Britain Hall and flight simulators, it is perfect for those wanting to learn about the RAF.

Chichester (15 minutes) is also a must-visit when staying here. Visit the historic cathedral and admire the Norman and the Gothic architecture, or head to Fishbourne Roman Palace, dating back to 75AD. This is the largest Roman residence north of the Alps. Or, for a more leisurely day out, enjoy exploring the city's cobbled streets and charming pubs.

Portsmouth is also just 40 minutes away. Here you can visit the historic dockyard, climb the Spinnaker Tower or enjoy shopping at Gunwharf Quays.
