Lovely eco campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is a lovely simple campsite, just 20 minutes pleasant walk from Bude. There are compost toilets, and the showers are warmed by solar power - both worked well. We enjoyed our stay there.

Cerenety campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We loved staying at Cerenety Campsite. The location was perfect for us as we like walking & just leaving the van static. Within easy reach of the canal and river walks into Bude or out onto the coastal path. Site wouldn't be to everyone's taste as it is very basic, but the advertising reflects this. We felt it was a little expensive as it is so basic, but the location partly made up for this. The host was very friendly & helpful.
Beautiful tranquil campsite

Particularly good for people who want to be back to basics in beautiful surroundings- perfect for relaxing and switching off. The compost toilets were spotlessly clean.
You can walk alongside the canal into Bude in just 25 minutes.
Not for me VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Not for me this and not cheap but it should be. The facilities were not great! I get the whole eco thing but its not an excuse for poor facilities.

It's a basic site with basic facilities with composting loos and plenty of hot water, which is all you need. The fields are sloping, so be prepared for that, but the ambience is lovely, relaxed and kind. The site is spacious and you can bring a firepit, which I love, so all good for me!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We had a brilliant time here, everything was exactly as described and they couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and the facilities provided everything we needed. We had a perfect holiday and couldn't have asked for more!

Lovely wholesome weekend away
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 We booked this trip extremely last minute (the day before!) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The campsite is searchable by name on Google Maps so was very easy to find, and with two fields, there was plenty of space to set up. The location was perfect, just a half hour walk along the coastal path or the canal into Bude, and a short drive to other beautiful beaches also in the area.
The place was peaceful and even though there were a lot of people around, we never had to queue for the toilets or showers. Facilities are basic but do the job.

Our daughter loved all the animals and she met so many friends.
The showers were always warm and the toilets were cleaned regularly. The fire pit was great to loan and we had use of a picnic table too. The walk into Bude along the canal is beautiful.
Will definitely stay here again!

Nice location Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Great location. Pretty simple site. To get into Bude, it's just a a short walk along the canal. The coastal path is a 29 minute stroll the other direction.
The site was very basic. Essentially a field with a rustic shower block. No loo paper in the toilet. No hot water in the showers as the boiler had been switched off. One of the other campers turned the boiler on but the owner seemed to have come around and shut it off again!
It was a freezing cold, rainy morning already and fairly muddy everywhere. To have to then take a cold shower felt pretty poor for a £40 a night site.
I guess it might have been more welcoming in high season.
