About the site

This quiet, family-run park offers an adults-only stay, ideal for exploring both Wrexham, 15 minutes away, and Chester, a 20 minute drive. Enjoy a backdrop of the Welsh hills, along with easy access to the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, great for outdoor hikes and cycle rides. Onsite, there are spacious and level grass pitches for motorhomes and campervans only, measuring 4.6m x 8m, as well as grass 5m x 7m pitches for caravans. There is also a hardstanding and gravel 5m x 7m pitch suitable for a caravan, campervan or motorhome. Please note that all pitches offer an optional 16 amp hook up. Stroll ten minutes to a local cafe for breakfast, or head ten minutes further to two village pubs for a delicious evening cooked meal. A short 20 minute walk will take you to the ruins of the 13th-century Caergwrle Castle, where you'll also find a handy train station with routes around North Wales. The coast can be reached in just 35 minutes, too! Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure. The site permits raised BBQs only, and there's also a butcher just a 15 minute walk away, perfect for dining al fresco. Sorry, campfires are not permitted.

Open from 3 March to 25 October.
