Tents, roof tents and campervans are welcome across non electric pitches. About the site
Set beside one of the UK's leading inland surfing destinations, the site offers a great base for anyone keen to get out on the water. Around 25 minutes from Bristol, there are bookable surf sessions and lessons for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced surfers. Spacious non electric grass pitches measure 10m x 7m, providing plenty of room for tents, roof tents and campervans. The relaxed camping field is just a short 200m walk from the impressive surfing lake and main clubhouse. For glamping, the bell tents sleep two and come ready with twin beds and bedding already set up, so you can arrive and settle straight in. Shared facilities are close by, and guests simply need to bring towels and any cooking equipment they would like to use. The site is also home to a safari tent village, offering another glamping option. There's plenty to enjoy away from the waves too. The cafe and bar serves everything from breakfast and brunch to burgers and evening meals, while the surf shop stocks wetsuits, boards, accessories and clothing. Guests can also make use of the equipment hire, changing rooms, table tennis, volleyball, boules, a skate ramp, children's play park and outdoor seating areas. Throughout the year, regular events such as yoga sessions, live music and family activities add to the fun! If you're looking to explore further, the Bristol Zoo Project is only ten minutes away, while Bristol is around a 25 minute drive with its harbourside, independent shops, museums and restaurants. Easter Compton Farm Shop and Café is also within a 20 minute walk for local produce and groceries. Please note that this is a pet free site, so dogs cannot stay. Open fires, fire pits and BBQs are not permitted anywhere on site.
