The park is the perfect place to come to Nevis Range and take part in the range of activities that are offered, including skiing and snowboarding. The 15 hardstanding pitches are suitable for tourers, and are a close walk to the gondola that will take you up to the mountain. This is a great location for a Scottish ski holiday!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2022

Very useful site for recharging the van with water and electricity. My average rating penalizes the lack of showers and toilets when the price includes a £4 per person contribution on top of the package!

Site's response

Hi, glad to hear you got full use of the electric hook-ups and water facilities! We do have toilets and showers available on site at our base station available for all campsite guests.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2022

Nice area, with things to do onsite and Fort William not far. Facilities were a bit of a walk and not always clean due to bikes being muddy.

Site's response

Glad you enjoyed our fantastic location at the foot of Aonach Mor! We have been working super hard to get our new facilities block completed and we appreciate your patience while it's still only the old facilities available, this is due to change next week with the completion of our new facilities area!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2022

We booked this campsite on the day, I phoned an spoke to the reception staff as we were not going to make the check in time. The staff were friendly on the phone. We arrived to the site (building site) at approx 6.30pm. We drove round the campervan parking which was basically a gravel car park. The space she told us to go to was taken so we used another bay, unsure whether anybody would then turn up to that one and we would have to move. There were no toilets or showers close to the site at all. Walking around the building site, we found 2 filthy showers next to a bike wash. To get to these you had to walk through the building site. I'm glad I didn't have children with me. We left the site and drove into Fort William hoping to find a Travelodge to stay in. Unfortunately, these were all booked up and we had to return. We eventually did find toilets right round where the visitor centre was. It was far too far to walk to the toilets at night in the dark. Building went well into the night. Very stressful and disappointing. I hope when all the building work is completed that better reviews can be given.

Site's response

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at Nevis Range. Our new facilities block will be open soon, along with a completed path from the campervan park to the facilities.
