Had a very good weekend with friends. There were good facilities and plenty for the kids to do. The onsite shop only opens in week which is strange when most people camp during the weekend, but if you ask reception they are happy to open up for you. Very nice site and you have to be quiet after 10:30pm, which is good if you're camping with kids.

Great site. Has everything you would need. Good clean facilities. Get there early if you don't want a sloped pitch though. Staff not always easy to locate. Security is there to make sure no one is too noisy. Been here 3 times and will continue to come back.

Stayed for 2 nights on the bottom field with electric hook up. Fairly windy as is open to the elements but a great site and 2 nice pubs only a 5 mins walk away. Peacocks wandering around were a nice touch too. Will be back again..

This was a return visit after a 4 year break, we always come here as a family get-together as it's perfect for the little and big ones alike. Great location, fab facilities and we love that you can get a takeaway delivered to the tent! We honestly can't fault it here with all the local walks and animals to see right on the doorstep.

Incredible first visit to this site, right from check in to vacating the whole experience has been amazing! We've never camped before and chose this site based on distance from home, reviews and amenities. It really has exceeded all of our expectations!! Plenty of space, cleanliness is outstanding, the service we received throughout was 5*, plenty of pot washing facilities, showers and toilets, we barely ever queued and they were spotlessly clean. We were fortunate to experience the mobile trucks like the Horse and Jockey (mobile bar), tons of choice, prices really comparable and service with a smile. The pizza truck was incredible value for money and the pizzas were delicious and the vender was really accommodating (my husband is allergic to tomatoes)! The ladies on the Coffee truck were always really pleasant and chatty and the coffee, pancakes and hot chocolate were yummy. Emma and Matt in the Butty Box-were rushed off their feet but the chips and bacon butties we had made meals so much less stress and were really good value and just what we needed after a long day. This park is incredible, the choice of venders were perfect (they only come on certain weekends throughout the year), we even had live music, bouncy castles, birds of prey and a fireworks display, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. A really positive first time for us and we'll definitely be back!!
Amazing site - definitely returning!

Beautiful campsite with absolutely everything you could need! We are already planning a return trip! Only criticism would be prices for on-site vendors as food and drinks were quite expensive.

Was a great weekend. The only negative was the fireworks. They spoilt it slightly as we had our dog with us, and he was terrified. Having alpacas, cows and every other tent having dogs, I expected them to be fireworks that don't bang like at the wildlife parks. Wasn't very well thought through.

Exceptional campsite, well organised, every detail thought of to make your stay a smooth one. Airbed plug sockets, dry area to dry clothes, games room, locker to charge mobiles, vending machines, convenience shop, occasional caterers and security on site.
Loved it!

Stayed with family, we arrived at different times but were very lucky and were able to pitch together. We stayed in the Overflow Field which had loads of space. Great set up. We want to go again! Thanks.

It was our first time camping with our 2 year old and 3 year old and we loved it. Facilities were clean with plenty of hot showers, friendly staff and a nice play park for the kids. There are also some lovely walks, we loved the Nine Ladies. The only slight negative were the noisy peacocks and our boys didn't enjoy the 10pm fireworks.
Great facilities

Very nice and clean place, we went on the Queen's Jubilee weekend and stayed on the overflow field, which I think was better than the other fields because it was flatter. There was loads to do for all the family and the farm is close to some great walks as well. The only things that could make the place even better would be a bigger park for the kids to play on and a designated playing field because when the overflow field got full, there was not a lot of room for the kids to play games without hitting other tents and cars.

Great campsite, facilities always really clean and available, they have thought of everything. Couldn't fault it. We have 3 year old twins and a 7 year old, they loved it - the playground, the peacocks - ( be warned, they are noisy), the cows and alpacas, the walks leading straight from the site and the 5 min walk to nearest pub!
Great campsite, highly recommended

We have just got back from a 2 night stay over the Jubilee weekend. It was our first ever camping trip so obviously we was a bit worried - but we had nothing to worry about! The site is absolutely fantastic and i recommend it to everyone. The facilities were extremely clean and tidy and the showers were lovely and hot. There was also a park for the kids to play on, lots of water outlets, games room and a little shop. Also, with it being the Jubilee weekend, they had lots of fun stuff on for the kids & the adults. I'm already planning my next trip there 😁
Too busy and noisy, but good location

The campsite was overbooked for the jubilee weekend with people forced to camp at very close quarters. The campsite had arranged noisy concerts and fireworks for every evening, which didn't end until gone 10pm meaning the campsite was noisy until at least 11pm.The location and facilities were good, but if you're looking for a tranquil campsite, this isn't the place for you.

We stayed at Barn Farm over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend. There was so much for families to do provided by the site. We especially enjoyed the onsite catering vans! The family field is a lovely spot if you have young children, with the playground right in the field. The field is quite sloped and it's first come first served so we were camped on a bit of a hill, but it was ok. The facilities are good, but not the best. I think the extra traffic from the overflow fields during the event weekend made it difficult to keep them clean. But they weren't as busy I expected and plenty of toilet paper! We missed the electric hook up (no hook up for tents on this site), but we found sockets around in the bathroom blocks and games room to charge phones up! No problems keeping food in the fridge and ice packs in the freezer either. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for the kids, it was their favourite campsite that we've stayed on.

Been visiting here for years now and always love it. My only gripe is the mess that some inconsiderate campers leave around. It's a shame as the people who work there try very hard to keep it clean and tidy…
