Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Location is great, just few meters away from the lake.
I've never been in the campsite with showers opening time. That should be mentioned in the description of the campsite. I would recommend the campsite to others if they can schedule the activities around the shower schedule and they know about that beforehand, but personally, I wouldn't go back there.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Fabulous green field site with basic facilities. Located on the shore of Lake Windermere in a beautiful setting opposite Gummers Howe. There are some lovely hiking trails adjacent and located close to Lakeside.

Only thing that could be improved is lighting in the washroom and regular checks to ensure people are not disturbing each other.

Scenic view
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family) Jun 2023 Amazing location! Facilities are high standard and clean. Only complaint is that we wished the quiet after 10pm rule was enforced a little more, but some things cannot be helped.
Other than this, we had an amazing holiday.

Perfect
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family) May 2023 Most perfect campsite we have stayed in. The lake is right next to the site and perfect for a swim. I wasn't expecting any facilities as it's a green wilderness site. However, was very pleased with the shower and toilet facilities.
Owner greeted us, had conversations with us and made us feel very comfortable. Will 100% be returning. Perfect secret site.

People were lively and each person that has a tent left a generous amount of space for privacy for other campers. The only downfall is the toilets, they really need a good clean and maybe a sink somewhere for people to wash their hands.
