Beautiful campsite with friendly staff

First time visiting and will definitely come back again. The staff were friendly and helpful. The site was well maintained and the shower block and toilets were very clean. Loved every minute of our stay. The tiny only downside was the Wi-Fi wasn't very good and I had to end up using my data as it kept kicking me out or going very slowly. I believe they are changing their Internet so that's a plus. The food wagon was a god send when the weather took a turn for the worse and we could get hot food from the friendly gentleman serving.

Lovely site, great amenities

Would have been nice to have been met, as other sites had, to explain where everything was but it didn't matter as we found everything we needed. If it had been our 1st site, we wouldn't have had a clue.

Pleasant stay near Inverness

Excellent location. Grass pitches only and limiting with a motorhome. Good that there was no delineated spaces so could choose where you pitched/angle etc. Was open earlier than other seasonal sites, but not sure if l'd use in spring unless really dry weather.

The only addition I will add is that we do have plenty of hardstand pitches spread over the park to which we can direct touring units to when required, but maybe you were unable to find them. Lovely views across the water, where we pitched for the night. It was quiet and the showers and toilets hot and clean - would stay again!

NC 500 start

All good but shower building was very cold and didn't seem to be heated so skipped my shower.

My stay

Lovely site. Perfect, with beautiful scenery.

Nice site

A nice site, but arrived 12:15 and they were closed, despite saying open until 12:30. Had no WIFI. I would have put 5 stars, if the gardener hadn't come past my van while I was cooking my bacon sandwich and left me in black smog and did not apologise. Other than that, very friendly residents and calm.

North Coast 500 trip

A beautiful start to our NC500 trip! It was clean and well-maintained, the facilities had hot water, as well as a separate pot wash area. We received a warm welcome from our host, who showed us to our pitch and we have booked to stay again at the end of our trip.

Great campsite

Lovely views. Great for a night's camping with my kids.

Lovely setting

Lovely setting. Near drop off for hired motorhome, very convenient.

Cold showers and grimy shower room

Stayed here for one night, location was good. Check in closed early, showers were cold and grimy which was very unpleasant and meant we couldn't wash our child. Ground was very wet but that's to be expected sometimes. View was very nice. Location convenient. Toilets were stocked with loo roll.

Beautiful surroundings

A lovely site & we had a nice quiet spot. The showers are in need of updating as they were not very hot and quite dark, but they did the job.

Stopover point

Site is busy and unfortunately some, customers arriving late 10pm banging doors and unpacking. It's other people not possibly thinking about others sleeping. No hardstands. Fantastic views, hot clean wash rooms, site induction great 👍 Got stuck in the mud & owner came to the rescue and pulled us out - thank you. My opinions shared with the site.

Adequate

Lovely spot. Felt the grass pitches were all over the place and quite random. Facilities are ordinary.

Excellent spot

Excellent location to end our NC500 trip. Friendly service and lovely views surrounding. Toilets and showers well lit and open 24 hours, felt safe whilst using them. Showers were surprisingly powerful with good temperature. Not the most modern but do the job really well. My only suggestion would be to have some sort of community fridge/cupboard. We were at the end of our trip and threw away some perfectly good food as we could not take it with us, but could be put to good use/be useful for someone at the beginning of their trip.

Really basic

Shower/toilet block not heated and the shower block really basic. On arrival, it's a free for all. Reception closed. No designated parking bays park where you want which can cause issues later in the day when others are trying to fit into site, which causes them up to be too close to others.

NC500

Showers are in definite need of updating, there was no temp control and they were dirty. Site itself is in a perfect location for Inverness, quiet and plenty of room.

Nice, clean campsite. Could do with a few more showers and toilets.

Everything you need

Local to Inverness, Loch Ness and the start of NC500. Clean water availability, grey water dump. Small shop and a very quiet site for the size of it. On the edge of Beauly, wake up next to the water 💦 Showers not very warm.

Lovely little site, perfect for our night's stopover. Lovely clean facilities and nice showers.
