Clear filters Great location and fabulous site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 Great location, although a few roads getting to the site are unsuitable for caravans. Friendly welcome and allowed to pick which of the sloping pitches we wanted to occupy. The facilities were mainly clean and everything worked as it should. A family friendly site, which means there is always the sound of children playing and having fun (and a few times not so much fun) and mainly sticking to quiet hours. We also had the pleasure of being able to stay up late and enjoy the Y Not festival until the early hours, even though they were miles away it was good of them to share. Excellent staff prepared to do what they can to assist any issue, and even offered late at night to re-open the shop for some much-needed ear plugs.
A great site- I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Fab camping that exceeded out expectations
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 Had a lovely time at this campsite. We arrived late and were able to simply find a pitch and set up. The facilities were more than I expected, fridges, freezers, laundry room, lots of activities for young children, clean toilets and a good amount of large shower cubicles. The pizza van onsite on the Friday night was a tasty bonus too. I've not scored 5 stars for location purely because it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and so took longer to drive through the b-road country lanes - so simply because of extra time it added to our journey coming up from Devon.

Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2022 Really lovely stay at Barn Farm. Big fields all well manicured! Quite slopey but there was plenty of room to find some level ground! EHU would be good, but not essential for just a couple of days.
Very good pitch and good facilities
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2022 Our pitch was good, slight slope so blocks needed. Toilets and showers were good, really clean and always toilet paper in them. Shop just had basics but it's helpful. The only downside is if you don't like waking up early, there is a problem because there are many peacocks. Lovely to look at, but quite noisy.
For the kids there is a good play park and a games room which is fun to do, also a few games on the small area with outdoor badminton, connect 4, dominoes and snakes and ladders.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2022 Barn Farm Campsite had everything we needed. Was very clean and tidy, staff were all super friendly. Location of the campsite is impeccable - lots of lovely little walks are accessible from the campsite.
Really impressed with the campsite and would definitely return again!

Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 This site is such a good find. Fantastic facilities, with plenty of showers and toilets that were all spotless. Play area and an outdoor games area for children and families and large pitches with gorgeous views. Birchover is lovely for a wander with 2 nice pubs and a walk up to the 9 ladies standing stones, that is pretty special. We will be back.
