About Hendra Holiday Park
This five-star holiday park, has been family owned since 1972. Nestled in the Cornish countryside, just five minutes outside of Newquay, within easy access of seven golden sand beaches. With incredible onsite facilities including the Oasis Fun Pools complex with flumes and splash zones, an outdoor pool, eateries, entertainment, and plenty olf entertainment for the kids, this fun packed park is the perfect all immersive destination for you and your family. There are 12 fields containing spacious touring and camping pitches, well laid out with roads, lighting and water points, all designed with you in mind. Spread over 50 acres of holiday park and 80 acres of landscaped parkland, there are scenic views of the countryside all around. The camping and touring facilities offer a huge variety of pitches, spread across 80 acres of landscaped parkland. You'll find pitches with open countryside views, as well as more sheltered options and spots closer to the action. There are also car free, family-friendly fields, as well as the Elm premium touring field which offers fully serviced grass and hardstanding pitches. The site have won an incredible range of awards, Visit England Bronze Award winners in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category. Hendra also went through to the Visit England finals after winning Gold at the South West Tourism's Holiday Park of the Year. Other awards include Visit England Gold 5 Star 'exceptional' quality grading and the new AA Platinum 'elite park' 5 Pennant rating, bronze for sustainable tourism at the South West Tourism Awards, a Hoseasons Diamond Award and Platinum Loo of the Year. Hendra also have a range of holiday home and lodge hire accommodation available. However you're looking to holiday, you'll find something suitable here! Dogs are welcome at Hendra in designated areas too (though some breeds are not accepted).

Site facilities include award-winning loos, showers, a laundrette, a shop open daily and free WiFi in certain communal areas, with WiFi at your pitch for an extra cost. For food, there is The Terrace Bar and Restaurant, along with the Coffee Express Cafe and Mario's Pizzeria bar and takeaway and an ice cream shop. An outdoor deck is available in summer with seasonal entertainment.
There is an indoor pool with river rapids, three log flumes and a toddler's pool. Outside is a heated swimming pool open during peak times. There is even an crazy golf course!
Live entertainment is available during peak times. Indoor amusements include an arcade, soft play and kid's classes including arts and crafts. Outside are multiple play parks, a skate park, outdoor gym, sports field and a land train running daily. For an extra cost, guests can enjoy Hendra Mini 4x4's, Sea Scooters and Segways.

This was our first time staying with Hendra and they did not disappoint! Staff were amazing in every part of the park. The shows in the evening were fantastic and the pitches and facilities were immaculate. We loved every second and are sad to be going home. My daughter especially took a shine to one of the entertainers, Molly. Molly went above and beyond with my daughter and all of the children and guests there, as did all of the entertainers. She was very sad to be leaving Molly, but is excited to hopefully see her again next year. We're looking forward to maybe spending 2 weeks with you next year as a week just isn't enough.

The whole park, both inside and out, is immaculately kept and seems very well managed. The staff are friendly and efficient. On-site prices are very reasonable. Bar prices for both food and drink seem to be on par with pub prices. Food from the Terrace Bar was excellent and served quickly. Fish & chips from the on-site takeaway were some of the best I've eaten, and priced at just £6.90 (I paid £11.50 at a Caravan Park at Devon recently!). The park is huge, but sectioned into smaller areas. It's very quiet at night (unlike some large parks) and just a short 10-minute drive into Newquay.

There's something for everyone at the park, including an indoor and outdoor pool with three flumes, live entertainment, a skate and scooter park, a soft play area, a playground, an outdoor gym, and a crazy golf course!
Newquay is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall, with Hendra perfectly positioned just outside in the countryside. You are near some of Cornwall's best beaches, including the famous surfer's favourite Fistral.
Newquay has something for everyone with Newquay Zoo, Trenance Gardens and boating lake, surfing, water sports and the town has many bars and restaurants too.
The site is less than an hour from Padstow, Truro, Falmouth, St Ives, Mevagissey, Charlestown, Fowey and many more excellent places.
