Greenway Touring and Glamping Park is a quiet and peaceful site for adults (over 18s only). Greenway is an ideal couples' getaway and equally suitable whether you're relaxing as you watch buzzards and red kites overhead, or wanting to explore and discover the unspoilt Shropshire Hills and quaint historic market towns. Leave the stress and strains of family life and work behind you. The park's location makes it an ideal base for visiting the market towns of Ludlow, Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Clun and Bridgnorth. For a bigger town, Shrewsbury and Telford aren't far either. This gently sloping touring site welcomes caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents as well as tents. An ideal spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset before looking up to the starry skies. Hardstanding pitches include electric, tap and own grey water waste connections. You're allowed to bring your own BBQ as long as it's kept off the ground. Ask for a slab and hot pot stand if cooking alfresco and check with the site before getting a fire going in your fire pit. The pods come equipped with a 4ft double bed (please bring your own bedding), heater, kettle, plates and crockery for two people. Outside there is even a chimenea and bistro set. Or stay in one of the larger Premier glamping pods equipped with a 4ft 6 double bed, breakfast bar and bar stools, slimline fridge, heater and a kettle. Please bring your own bedding. Outside is a patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings. Dogs are welcome on the site but must be kept on a lead and owners must clear up after them. A note from the site themselves...

We - Jane and Brian - aim to provide you with a safe quiet, friendly, child free environment so you can relax and unwind leaving the stress of work and family life behind.

Whilst we are a rural site (set in the rolling Corvedale Hills) there is plenty to do and see, explore and discover should you choose to.

We aim to encourage wildlife by providing "wild" areas on the site and have plenty of trees for the birds.

We encourage our guests to help us care for our planet by providing them with bins to recycle their glass, tins, plastics, paper, cardboard and food waste.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at Greenway, and would urge anyone else thinking of booking, to just do it. You won't regret it. The site is excellently maintained. The facilities are good and are cleaned on a daily basis. The owners are very pleasant people, who can't do enough to help you and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but I got the impression that if any were to arise, the owners would do all they could to rectify any matter as speedily as possible. Just as promised, the site was so peaceful and relaxing. We booked Greenway because we wanted a mixture of days out and places to see, and also days spent purely relaxing on site. The location of the site is great for activities and sightseeing. Whilst on the site, your troubles melt away. Apart from the beautiful sounds of nature and pleasant views, the site is quiet and peaceful. Just what we wanted. Overall I can't fault our stay at Greenway. It topped our expectations. The friendly nature of the owners coupled with the sites facilities and relaxing aura made it a highly enjoyable break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We'd definitely consider returning in the future, and will be recommending this site to others back home. Thanks Greenway!

Site's response

We are a quiet and peaceful adults only site set within the rolling Corvedale Hills that provide an ever changing, living landscape for a backdrop to the pitches and glamping pods. We are an ideal base to just relax or explore and discover what the beautiful Shropshire Hills have to offer. This includes 'moochable' market towns like Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Clun and Church Stretton to name but a few. Castles, English heritage and National Trust properties. Stunning landscapes and miles of walking and cycling - some can be started direct from the site. We are always happy to chat to our guests about or any issues they may be having or the area and what it has to offer - we also have lots of leaflets and maps available. Thank you for leaving us such a glowing review and recommendation - it is much appreciated. We are glad that your stay exceeded your expectations.

A wonderfully quiet place to get away

Small Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

On our arrival, we were greeted by Brian and shown to a choice of pitches we could choose from. He explained all about the facilities and recommended some lovely options for local restaurants to us. The area was so peaceful and quiet - the wildlife is amazing! So many birds, you can hear the lambs in adjacent fields, the buzzards overhead and the owls in the evening! The recycling system is a great idea, and everything around the kitchen/shower block area is geared to making everything so smooth and easy to use. Would highly recommend this campsite to anyone who wants a peaceful base for adventures around the Shropshire area.

Site's response

We are a quiet adults only site, set in the rolling Corvedale Hills, mid way between the historic market town of Ludlow and Church Stretton and the Long Mynd. We are an ideal base for those wishing to explore and discover the hidden gems to be found in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Miles of walking and cycling direct from the site if this is your choice of transport. There is plenty to do or see in the area. We are a haven for birds and wildlife with the site having plenty of trees, long grass in areas and plants. We encourage guests to recycle glass, tins, plastics, paper / cardboard and food waste by providing containers that can be taken to their pitch or glamping pod. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a great review - it is much appreciated.

Lovely place to stay!

Apr 2023

Myself and my partner came to stay here for a night in a glamping pod, the pod was clean, cosy, well stocked and comfortable. The facilities were all clean and cleaned daily and spotless throughout. They have a washing up facilities with extra bits like saucepans and stuff to use if you need them too! Plus lots of leaflets and information about the local area! Whilst there, I unfortunately lost my engagement ring and Jane and her partner could not have been more helpful and understanding! They helped me look for nearly an hour, even getting out a metal detector twice for us and helping us search the cabin and grounds! After we had left, they put up a poster for us too! I would recommend this site to anyone for how helpful and friendly they were! Also very understanding to a stressed lady frantically looking for a needle in a hay stack! Lovely site to stay on and would definitely go back again!

Site's response

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay despite thinking you had lost your engagement ring - we are very glad that you found it when you returned home. We try to make our guests stays as relaxing / comfortable as possible and try and anticipate some of the things that guests may have forgotten like tin or bottle openers and utensils - if it cannot be found above the washing up sinks please come and ask and we will try and help. If we can help we will. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - it is much appreciated. We hope to see you again soon.
