About Yurtshire Fountains
Yurtshire Fountains is set in the stunning countryside of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural beauty and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, only one mile from the world famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Park World Heritage site. With six stylish and comfortable yurts, this exclusive site sits in a beautiful meadow with fantastic views of the spectacular scenery beyond. The handcrafted yurts have steam bent ash beams and a unique round-top solid oak door. The chic interiors are both rustic and cosy, furnished with a double bed, double and single futon, making the yurts equally ideal for couples on romantic getaways as well as groups of friends and families. The site and yurts are 'off grid' which means guests can really escape the everyday rat race. Solar powered lighting, lanterns and candles are provided and together with the warm glow of the wood burning stove. Fire pits and a BBQ add something special, too. In the true nature of sustainable living each yurt is self contained with its own private hot tub, flushing toilet and hot gas shower as well as being fully equipped with everything that you should need during your stay.

In the true nature of 'off grid living' the yurts do not have electricity. Each offers private facilities including a flushing toilet, hot shower and hot tub.

Site rules and policies
Check In
Check in is from 3.00pm. We would appreciate it if you could let us know at time of booking your estimated time of arrival so we can arrange to meet you. If you are due to arrive after 5.00 pm please contact us prior to your visit and we will make arrangements for you to collect your key.
Check Out
Check out is 10.30 am. Please return your key to reception.
Nuisance
Loud noise and nuisance will not be tolerated and guests must be respectful to other guests on the site. Guests who are deemed to be causing nuisance can be be liable for loss of deposit money and/or ejected from the site.
Cancellation Policy
Please inform us immediately by telephone and then in writing if you need to make a cancellation, where upon we will without prejudice to our right to the full rent in full make every effort to re-let the yurt and refund your money, less a £25 administration charge. You will be liable for the rent in full if we cannot re-let the yurt.
Security Bond
Groups of 8 guests or more will be required to pay a security bond of £120 per yurt. The Site Manager reserves the discretion to ask any customer for a security bond regardless of party size. This will be refunded in full at the end of your stay unless, in the opinion of the Site Manager, you have displayed unreasonable behaviour (this includes but is not limited to, wilful damage to the Site or other people's property and abuse of our staff, excessive noise should any members of staff/site managers be called out to such nuisances £40.00 of the security bond will be retained each call out).
For groups, the names of all the guests in the party need to be provided at the time of booking. Failure to provide all the names may lead to the booking being cancelled or the Site Manager refusing entry to the site.
Occupancy
Occupancy of the yurt must not exceed 5 people and we reserve the right to refuse occupancy if the numbers exceed this. The booking will then be deemed cancelled with full loss of payment.
In no event will Yurtshire be liable or held responsible for any injuries caused as a result of our facilities or products. Axes, fires and knives should be used by a responsible adult only.
