Dorset Forest Garden is based in the middle of beautiful Thomas Hardy country, close to the Jurassic Coast. The two shepherd's huts and Nomad the yurt suit adults and perhaps one child over 15 and have been positioned to enjoy the breathtaking views with their own private space amongst fruit trees. Each is candle lit, has its own fire pit, en-suite facilities, and the option of a private hot tub, plus a communal BBQ hut for tasty meals,

About Dorset Forest Garden

The shepherd's huts are made for two, each with a king size bed and feather duvet and a small wood burner. The huts are finished beautifully with restored furniture and blacksmith fittings, as well as a range of books and games to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Nomad has a double bed and feather duvet, vintage furnishings and a small wood burner. The yurt has its own toilet and shower facilities. Each has its own fire pit and outdoor kitchen kit provided. There is the option of a hot tub right next to each hut/yurt, the perfect place to enjoy stargazing with the very dark skies. Bed linen and towels for two are provided, along with a supply of wood and fire lighters, cooking equipment, china and cutlery. You'll also be provided with a pack of essentials for the kitchen including coffee, tea, sugar, marshmallows and washing up liquid.

Facilities and amenities

Main facilities are self contained within the huts, including a private en-suite loo and hot shower. The bell tent has access to private facilities. There is also a hot tub which can either be pre-booked or booked once on the site (it takes time to fill and heat the hot tub, so it'll take a few hours to get ready) and a communal BBQ on site.
