A note from the site themselves...
Here at Tatton Farm, we're proud to still run things the traditional way. It's a slower, more thoughtful way of farming, and it's what we believe in. By opening our campsite, we hope to keep this way of life going strong for many years to come.
Farming has been in our family for generations.
The farm was bought by my great-grandfather over 90 years ago, though the family's connection to the land goes back even further, well over 150 years. He grew up on a farm near Radipole but, being one of seven, had to branch out on his own. Since then, each generation has carried on the work, and now my own sons are following in the same muddy bootsteps.
Rafe and Freddie are already keen young farmers and will no doubt be around during holidays and weekends to say hello. My wife Vicky, is the one behind all of our online presence, and is there if you need anything.
From our family to yours, we look forward to welcoming you to Tatton Farm soon. Rich
