A note from the site themselves...
Lower Goldstone Farm is a historic family run farm. Opening up some of the land as a campsite has been championed by the younger generation to breathe life into the way the farm is run, to showcase elements of it to a wider audience, and to build a sustainable future that isn't just all about cattle and crops.
We had a great time. Dave was really friendly and welcoming from the start.
The toilets and showers are lovely, clean and well kept. Fridge freezers and sinks, as well as drinking tap water is all readily available. In the evenings, they have a little bar where you can buy beers and cocktails, as well as burgers at certain times and in the morning, there is a spot to buy coffee and breakfast if you want.
The area you camp is quite a large field and sound does not carry at all. I worried everyone was so quiet and perhaps my kids might be a bit loud in such a quiet area as I couldn't hear anybody else, but people were making some noise, you just don't hear it until you walk right by the other campers, so it's great if you want the quiet but also good if you have young and sometimes noisy children.
Overall, we had a lovely time and we will certainly return!.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025
We stayed over the bank holiday weekend and we absolutely loved it!
I went with my 3 year old, my partner and his 7&8 year old - it was perfect for them! Peaceful and quiet, yet you don’t feel like you can’t let the kids laugh and play.
Facilities were very clean and the staff so welcoming ♥️
We are already looking to book again!
