At Barle Brook Retreat, you and your party will enjoy exclusive use, with no other campers on site! Centrally located amongst Exmoor and North Devon's vast array of attractions, beaches and landmarks this is a family friendly establishment offering privacy to its guests.

About the site

The site is a true back to nature experience offering space for up to two medium to large touring caravan or motorhomes with awning or small tent. Four electric hook up points available. Ideally suited to large families and groups, this is also available to hire for parties, clubs and other occasions. Perfect for a large family get together where your own garden just wont do! There's space for up to two medium/large units or tents. Collect fresh eggs and feed the site's feathered friends - always a firm favourite with younger visitors! Sorry, no dogs allowed here.

Things to do on site and in the Barnstaple area

You're not far from the action here. Less than five miles away is Exmoor Zoo with plenty to see including leopards, cheetahs, reptiles, amphibians and more.

Head to Combe Martin and try out an animal experience at Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Marvel at the animatronic dinosaurs, explore the Tomb of the Pharaohs or hop on the Dino Express.

Or take the kids to Watermouth Castle's theme park! Head into the dungeons and wander through the maze before entering the spooky smuggler's dungeon. Kids are free to wander in Adventure Land with crazy 'fountain' golf, Merry Go Land with water gardens, maze and carousel as well as Gnome Land with colourful characters including the wicked troll.
