About the site

Set on a hillside overlooking scenic countryside, it offers a peaceful, rural setting surrounded by friendly sheep, and is just 25 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Park. Spanning over 600 acres of farmland, it makes an ideal romantic break, a family adventure, and anything in between. There are two glamping pods open all year, both with underfloor heating. Each pod includes an ensuite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a Smart TV, and a well-equipped kitchen with kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer, plus electric and gas. Outside, both have private decking with seating. Pheasant Field sleeps four (two adults and two children) and features a skylight window for stargazing under dark skies. The sleeping setup includes a double bed and a sofa bed/futon. It also has the largest decking area and a dedicated dog pod outside. Hare Meadow sleeps five (two adults and three children) and includes a double bed and a bunk bed. It offers a larger kitchen corner with a dishwasher and dining area, plus a private outdoor space with furniture and an outdoor gas cooker. All glamping units include bedding, towels, WiFi, and a private BBQ and fire pit, ideal for a quiet evening under the stars. The nearby market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is just ten minutes away, with Devil's Bridge, independent shops, boutiques and a popular Thursday Farmers' Market. The coast is a short 20 minute drive away, and offers beaches such as Silverdale Cove and Hest Bank Beach. One dog is welcome in the glamping pods, and guests staying in Pheasant Field can use the dedicated dog pod. There are plenty of dog walking routes from the site, too!
