A members only site in beautiful Shropshire countryside, set in the peace and quiet of England's heartlands. Birch Hill Farm Certificated Location offers a relaxing and tranquil space for tourers from which you can explore the waterways of England and Wales.

About the site

Nestled into rolling countryside, this attractive, rural site is surrounded by spectacular views, one mile north of Ellesmere and just two miles from the North Wales border. You can see so far from this base that in clear conditions, you gaze out over nine stunning counties. Across this spacious and well mown two acre site, you'll find pitches for a maximum of five caravans and motorhomes, with eleven electric hook-ups. All the pitches are beautifully grassed hardstandings spread between four water taps. There is a spacious field for rallies and the neighbouring fields are inhabited by cows and sheep, which only adds to the relaxed country vibe on site. Access is very easy thanks to a nearby A-road and yet, with a 200m private drive, you're well separated from road noise and hustle. Two dogs per pitch are welcome to join you.

The site is on a central Land's End to John o'Groats bicycle route - so be sure to stop by on your journey across the country.

Hop into the pretty market town of historic Ellesmere, with a delightful market held every Tuesday, plus a great selection of antique shops and a Sunday antiques fair that will have your eyes lighting up.

This part of Shropshire is dotted with gorgeous lakes or 'meres' - the clue being very much in the name of 'Ellesmere'. Explore the calm beauty of Shropshire's lake-land with walks by rural canals.

Less than an hour will have you at a host of intriguing castles, stately houses and National Trust properties.
