Set on a family run farm, Waenfechan Glamping and Camping offers a peaceful escape with panoramic views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Conwy Estuary. Choose from electric grass pitches for tents, or park up on an electric hardstanding pitch with your very own hot tub! Luxury glamping pods and cabins are also available with hot tubs and Smart TVs. Located just 20 minutes from the seaside town of Llandudno, this is a great coastal base.

About the site

Nestled within Conwy Valley and 20 minutes from Colwyn Bay and Llandudno, this site offers an ideal base for beach days and outdoor adventures. Choose from small electric grass pitches, perfect for solo travellers or couples with a small or medium-sized tent, or opt for a standard electric grass pitch for any size tent, great for families. Park your campervan on a hardstanding pitch and enjoy your own private hot tub area. Those seeking extra comfort can stay in one of three luxury secluded glamping pods or four pod cabins, each featuring a private hot tub, ensuite bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. Soak up the breathtaking Welsh views from your deck as the sun sets over the Snowdonia Mountains. Dogs are welcome on all grass and hardstanding pitches. Please note that the glamping units are pet free.

The site's pods are available all year round, while camping and touring is available from the start of April until the end of October.

Guests have access to toilets and showers, with family shower rooms available as well as a communal hairdryer. There is a washing up area, a laundry area with a washing machine and tumble dryer for a small charge, and a fridge/freezer. Free WiFi is available across the site. The facilities in the glamping pods are self-contained and ensuite.

For essentials, there is a Co-op Food, a 15 minute drive away. The dog friendly Bee Inn is a five minute drive, serving food and drink.

* Check-in for glamping units is from 3pm. Check out must be before 10:30am.

* Check out for camping and touring pitches is by 11am.

* BBQs need to be placed off the ground. Bricks can be provided. Campfires are not allowed.

* Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. The glamping units are pet free.

* There is a quiet noise policy from 11pm until 7am. Please keep any music at a low level.

* Children must be supervised at all times.

Check-in for camping/touring is from 1pm-8pm and you must vacate your pitch before 11am on your last day. Glamping pod check-in is from 3pm-9pm and you must check-out by 10:30am on day of departure.

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, provided they are kept on a short lead whilst onsite, are not a breed/crossbreed listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act or any Staffordshire bull terriers, American Staffordshire terriers, Rotweilers, and any Mastiff or Tosa - pets are not permitted in the glamping pod. A dog walk on site is ideal for exercising them off-lead.
