About the site

An ideal base for exploring, this peaceful family friendly park is within a short 15 minute drive of the New Forest National Park and 20 minutes to Bournemouth and its sandy Blue Flag beaches. If you want to unwind onsite, you can take a dip in the covered swimming pool and hot tub, with a handy terrace bar for fun-filled evenings too. Tent campers can choose between the spacious grassed area and sheltered woodland pitches. The woodland pitches measure 5m x 7m pitches, whilst the non electric grass pitches are 4m x 8m, and the 16 amp electric grass pitches are 5m x 8m. Cars are not allowed in the camping area, but you'll be able to use the camping trolleys provided to help you get the contents of your boot down to your pitch easily. Please note that campervans and motorhomes are not permitted. If you want to upgrade your stay, there are spacious 5m Airdome ready tents plus 6m woodland bell tents offering views across rolling fields. Both sleeping up to four, the tents come with a ready-made king-size bed, two single futon beds, and space for an additional blow up bed. Please note that bedding is only provided for the king bed, so additional bedding and towels are required. Inside, you will also have lights, a kettle, a toaster, and a fully equipped kitchen pack, with access to a shared central fire pit/BBQ. For even more comfort, there is a range of safari tents. All include bedding, towels, electric and an outdoor veranda with furniture. For cooking, there is a kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The Classic range of safari tents includes Oak with a king sized bed, along with Ash, Cherry and Beech with two king size bedrooms. Cherry includes a private toilet, whilst the rest have access to shared facilities nearby. These tents also have a fridge, electric blankets, and a gas stove. The luxury range of safari tents, Lime, Rowan, and Maple, features a full ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower, plus underfloor heating, a fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer and a wood burning stove. Lime and Rowan have a king size bed and a set of bunk beds, whilst Maple has an additional single bed to sleep five. Staying here, you will also find cosy well equipped lodges, a self contained nook, and a four bed house. Onsite, spot the resident wildlife or take a peaceful stroll along the natural stream which passes through the site. All pitches and glamping tents allow up to one dog to join you for your stay. In the evenings, guests can cook up a BBQ or toast marshmallows over the fire pit, just please ensure these are raised from the ground. Bags of logs and marshmallows can be picked up from the shop, with a communal pizza oven and fire pits dotted around the site too.

The site opens in April. Ready tents and woodland pitches close on the 30th September. Grass pitches and safari tents are open until the 1st November. Stay from £45/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Safari Tent - Ash Safari Tent (Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

My two children and I had the most wonderful break away. We banned the tech and went back to old fashioned fun. The tent was fabulous and kept us warm and dry in a very heavy storm. Loved the gas stove. It made the tent lovely and cosy. Kitchen supplies are very basic with two sauce pans, two frying pans, a plate, side plate, mug and glass each, cutlery, a peeler, one sharp knife and a can opener. If you require a masher or a fish slice, tongs or a wooden spoon, bring these yourself. The beds were warm and comfortable and the fluffy towels were very welcome. The toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were really lovely with a fab fragrance! Camp showers and toilets were clean and had warm water all day. The pool and hot tub were really good too, it was tough keeping the kids out. We didn't have time, on this break, but would have loved to make use of the pool table and table tennis. The bar was well stocked and the reception sold BBQ coals and fire wood. The firepit was made the most of with marshmallows every night, a treat in itself. The staff are so friendly and helpful, it's really obvious that they care that you enjoy your stay. Honestly, we can't wait to return. We had such a lovely time, thank you.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Woodland PitchesAug 2025

We love our stay here It would've been nice if the hot tub had a few hours for adults only in the evening as my partner felt that he couldn't use the hot tub at all because it was full of children. The showers were slightly cold in the morning, but all in all we had an excellent trip everyone was lovely and we definitely would stay again.

It's perfect for a day at the coast, whether you want to sunbathe, swim or try an ice cream by the sea. Poole is just ten minutes further away, too.

Kingston Lacy is also just 20 minutes away. This National Trust house is full of art and treasures, and the gardens are perfect for peaceful walks among trees, flowers and even a Japanese tea garden.
