Situated within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by countryside and wildlife, this getaway offers a peaceful adult-only base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. The site welcomes tents, trailer tents, and small campervans across 14 non electric grass and hardstanding pitches. Each pitch accommodates up to three guests, offering a relaxed and spacious camping experience. For those seeking extra comfort, there are three ensuite shepherd's huts, Badger's Retreat, Fox's Den, and Hares Hideaway. The huts enjoy beautiful views, great for bird watching with a cup of coffee in the morning. Fox's Den and Badger's Retreat overlook the small fishing lake. Inside, there is a king-sized bed (bedding not provided) and a well-equipped kitchenette with a cooker, oven, sink, fridge, and kettle. There is also heating, a woodburner, and a Smart TV for cosy evenings, along with your own ensuite toilet and shower. Outside, there is furniture and a fire pit. The Hare's Hideaway ensuite shepherd's hut includes the same, however, it is tucked away in a peaceful corner of the farm, for a more secluded stay. Outside, it has its own enclosed outdoor space and balcony. Otter's Nest is the smallest of the shepherd's huts but still has a super king bed, heating, and a kitchenette with a gas hob, sink, fridge, and kettle. Nearby shared facilities are available for guests staying in this hut. Dogs are welcome across the site, including in the shepherd's. BBQs are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground.

Was a pleasure to stay here, tucked away we had peace and quiet even though it was only 5 mins off the main road. Lovely choice of pitch with small hedges in between and fire pits/ table and chairs to grab. A lovely pond and a selection of Shepard’s huts if you wanted posh glamping. Clean facilities and a butchers than comes round on a Saturday evening, what more could you ask for! We will be back for sure.

Only had the one night, but it was so relaxing. Peaceful other than the sounds of nature. Nice and rural with lots of walking spaces. Adult only, which is such a bonus with only two other vehicles on site too. The bins were full and hand towel dispensers needed some attention but other than that, the facilities were perfect. Didn't see the owners at all but that was no issue. I'm sure if we had a real problem it would've been dealt with. For a peaceful, relaxing stay, we highly recommend.

Things to do on site and in the Bridport area

Just ten minutes from the beautiful Jurassic Coast, the site is ideally situated for days out at the beach. Some of the most popular nearby destinations include Charmouth Beach (10 minutes), West Bay Beach in Dorset (15 minutes) and Beer Beach (35 minutes).

Lyme Regis is also just ten minutes away, full of wonderful seaside attractions for you to explore. Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is filled with fascinating exhibitions, featuring spectacular marine fossils, dinosaur models, and animal skeletons.

You can also head to the harbour and book yourself on one of the many boat trips, whether you're looking for a fishing expedition or a thrill-seeking rib ride.

For something a little different, head to Seaton (25 minutes) and enjoy a ride on the Seaton Tramway. This old-style mode of transport takes you through the Axe Valley alongside the River Axe, great for spotting wildlife and taking in the scenery.
