A note from the site themselves...

Here at the farm, we are all about family. Back in 2006, when Oliver and Penny Strong were still in the business of making metal sculptures and topiary, they settled with their family on a wildly beautiful cider orchard in West Dorset.

Initially, the orchard was planted for a long standing apple contract with Gaymers in Shepton Mallet. We soon ceased this as we began using more of the apples for our own products and Dorset Nectar Cider was born during the banking recession of 2008.

Since then, and thanks to the amazing efforts of all of our family and friends, Dorset Nectar Cider has gone from strength to strength. We are now very happy to welcome guests to stay with us, and we hope to welcome you soon, Ryan

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Went here for 2 nights with my partner and it was perfect. The service and staff members were more than welcoming and helpful. All the facilities were clean and had been done regularly. There was amazing live music on the Saturday night with great food. The homemade cider is delicious and fresh, definitely recommend trying. Lastly, it was relaxing and peaceful with everyone staying there, being very respectful with noise and rubbish. 10/10 - Definitely recommend going.
