Stud Farm

Situated just off the South Downs Way is the friendly and relaxed Stud Farm campsite. Offering back-to-basics camping that caters for tents and small campervans only, kick back and relax on your pitch. It's a handy walk from the beach (20-30 mins) with a peaceful vibe, only 30 minutes in the car from central Brighton with its Royal Pavillion and fab shops. Campfires welcome.

About the site

Take in the fabulous views over the Downs from your pitch at Stud Farm. If you're a traditional camper looking for some good ol' fashioned camping with basic facilities, to explore the sweeping countryside, the site has you covered. Pitches are on grass and suitable for tents and small campervans only (max 6 metres). Sorry, no caravans or motorhomes here. They are marked, allowing campers to choose which pitch they would like. The site welcomes everyone from backpackers to small campers. And, for large groups, the camping field can be hired for your gathering with an advanced booking. Well behaved dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead. Do note all under 21s must be accompanied by an adult.

Stud Farm is open from 04/04 to 04/10.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a beautiful site and well run. Although there was no electricity, the service of freezing cool box packs overnight was a very good idea. The facilities were kept clean and tidy and there were frequent checks by the managers to ensure all was well. It was beautifully quiet. £25 was a very reasonable price for two people in a campervan. Below I have put couple as that is the nearest category, but we were two friends. Also categorising for whom the site would be good, I haven't put older children down, but it would suit them if they were keen on the outdoors and not on screen machines.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay we are happy to help our customers in any away from charging their phones to putting their ice blocks in the freeze, we like to keep our facilities well kept and clean as we think that's important, there is plenty of things to do close to our campsite plenty of stunning walks and close to the beach and a Tesco's express and a couple of local pubs.
