About the site
Easy to access by car, public transport or on foot, the ten acre camping field is big on views and gives plenty of room between tents, with just eight pitches. The site is set on organic land that hugs the lower slopes of the South Downs. The main camping area is at the top of the land. The land has five terraces, allowing flat camping with great views. The Seven Sisters, Eastbourne beach, Birling Gap, and Cuckmere Haven are all within a 15 minute drive, or you can walk directly from the campsite to the South Downs Way or just walk to Jevington to the lovely Eight Bells pub which has a fantastic garden to enjoy sunset. Car access is permitted for up to ten cars, which can be parked in the first field, and wheelbarrows are available to transport your things to your bell tent or camping pitch. Please note that the terrain is steep in places and is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Guests staying here must take any rubbish away with them. Only wood purchased onsite may be used.
Wayfaring Farm Camping is open from 03/08 to 27/08. Pitches from £40/night for 2 people.
