Seaside camping, caravan site and holiday cottage on the Llyn Peninsula. Snowdonia and North Wales' other major attractions are close by. The site adjoins a private beach which is safe for bathing and there is access for boat launching.
The hamlet of Gyrn Goch is on the A499 road and lies 10 miles south of Caernarfon and 9 miles north of Pwllheli. It is adjacent to the Llyn Peninsula and the whole of Snowdonia - as well as being within easy reach of all that North and Mid Wales have to offer. Aberafon Campsite itself has 15 acres of valley grounds, 5 acres of which are sheltered, level grass pitches. The surroundings are altogether delightful, with panoramic views and seascape, which lend themselves to a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation and are ideal for children. There is also a holiday cottage/bungalow available for rent on site.
Open from Easter to the end of October.
Grass pitches, with or without electric hook up. Suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Unfortunately Aberafon Campsite doesn't share their availability calendar with us yet. Availability changes quickly, especially in summer, so we recommend enquiring by phone to avoid missing out.
Due to our restricted access we advise against booking for caravans or motorhomes over 7.5 metres.
We do not accept tents over 8 metres.
The site is well located for all major North Wales attractions. There is very good sea and river fishing available in the locality, as well as excellent mountain and coastal walks.
The site is at the foot of the 1,500ft mountain, Gyrn Goch, and also near the Yr Eifl mountains which sweep majestically down to the sea.
