About the site


This warm and welcoming site boasts an ideal location for your Cornish getaway. Enjoy the rural setting with surrounding fields while being just a 20 minute walk to the stunning sandy beach at Carbis Bay. Set across two spacious fields and sheltered by the trees, there are plenty of grass pitches available for tourers and campers. Should you require an electric hook up during your stay, there are 40 12 amp electric grass pitches to choose from. With a truly relaxed and fun atmosphere, you can focus on quality time spent outdoors away from daily life. Take a walk down to the bay and admire the views as you wonder across to St Ives. Campfires and BBQs are all part of the special camping experience, so these are welcome - you can even rent fire pits from the site. The site is very dog friendly so why not bring along your four-legged friends too! When you arrive, please head to reception to be shown to your pitch by a member of staff. Please note, this site is cash only.

The site is open from 27th June to 19th July and 16th August to 7th September. Stay from £16/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Site facilities include separate ladies' and gents' toilets and showers with hand basins. There are washing-up areas and guests have access to laundry facilities, fridges and freezers and can also use electric sockets for hairdryers/phone chargers etc.

Head just a ten minute drive into St Ives for an array of pubs, restaurants and shops. There is also a large Tesco Superstore for all your essentials. You can catch a regular bus every 15 minutes from the main road, which is a five minute walk away.

Very convenient for the bus and train within short walking distance from the camp site We only used the train which was a lovely 5 minute coastal journey into st ives ... we will definitely be going back at some point 🤪

Things to do on site and in the St Ives area

Right by where you're staying, you'll find the start of attractive rural and coastal walks. One of the best is Hayle Estuary, where you can spot flocks of pretty birds. There's also sea and freshwater fishing and golf in the area.

Head down to Carbis Bay, where the water is also an incredible place to try windsurfing, paddle boarding or surfing! If you're looking for something more relaxing, head to St Ives' Una Spa and take things at a leisurely pace.

St Ives is within easy reach too! There is a regular bus service running just outside the site every 15 minutes which takes you right into the centre. You'll find so much on offer for visitors to do, including the Tate Gallery, tasty local restaurants, and shops to wander.
