About the site

Escape to this peaceful, adult only countryside getaway, home to a small collection of spacious grass pitches and fully equipped camping pods. Surrounded by rural scenery, it's just a 20 minute walk from the village of East Hoathly and within a 30 minute drive of both Brighton and Eastbourne. The site offers three electric hardstanding pitches with grass and two electric hardstanding pitches, each with a 16 amp hook up suitable for tents and tourers. Each pitch is generously spaced with well maintained facilities nearby. For those wanting to leave the tent behind, the camping pods sleep up to two guests and come fully equipped with a gas ring burner, a fridge, bedding and towels. Outside, each pod has its own private terrace with seating, a BBQ and a fire pit. Fibre broadband is also available, so you can stream your favourite shows using your own laptop or tablet. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead while onsite. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the camping pods.

The site's hardstanding pitches and glamping pods are available year round, while grass pitches are available from April to September. Pitches from £25/night for 2 people.

Brilliant little campsite Made the trip down from speyside (in Scotland) 12 hour drive and the place was brilliant facilities where immaculate location was great not too far from Hastings which was perfect as was visiting my partners family all round a great wee campsite and would 100% stay again

A note from the site themselves...

I have been camping and leading expeditions most of my life and have a passion for the rural environment. We have so much to explore in this country and what I want to create is something more than just a campsite.

I wanted to create something exclusive for visitors to the area who return on a regular basis. The site now has three camping pods which are well equipped for glampers to experience this rural area in the middle of the Sussex countryside.

Our logo is one of an owl and there are plenty that can be heard in the adjacent woods. The ancient woodland adjacent to the site is a haven for wildlife.

The site is positioned close to the coast, about 30 minutes from Eastbourne and Brighton. Tunbridge Wells is also close by and only 30 minutes away.

Uckfield, Heathfield and Lewes are also within easy reach and have plenty of shops to browse, as well as major supermarkets for any essentials needed during your stay.

National Trust properties, including Bateman's at Burwash and Sheffield Park, are just a 25 minute drive away.
