About the site

With wonderful sea views to one side and mountains on the other, this site is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Llŷn Peninsula. For adults only, the site is ideal for those searching for a peaceful, back to basics stay with direct access via a path to the coast. There are just 17 pitches onsite, each located in its own private mown out area. All of the pitches are non electric and suitable for tents only, measuring 10m x 10m. Pitches are car free, but wheelbarrows are supplied for transporting your belongings from the car parking area. The site is also a haven for visiting wildlife, including buzzards, birds of prey, rabbits and more. The area is also full of charming hidden coves and beaches, with Snowdonia National Park within a 15 minute drive too! For evenings under starry skies, campfires and BBQs are welcome so you can enjoy some traditional camping grub. Do note, this site is dog free. This site is with The Greener Camping Club and at least one of your party must be a member. Membership costs £12 for the year and can be bought upon booking, giving you access to all membership sites.

Excellent campsite, brilliantly located. Has a pretty much private beach a short walk away, Very clean and with superb amenities. Pitches are private with a short hedge for privacy and personal bench and campfire. Bathrooms are clean with a better shower than I have at home! Mountain and sea view everywhere on site. Car park is really close to the tent and there are wheelbarrows available if needed - which is a big help. Really close to lots of interesting sights. This is a brilliant campsite and we will definitely be recommending to friends and family and returning hopefully soon!

Things to do on site and in the Caernarfon area

Home to unspoilt countryside and beautiful beaches, this location is perfect for those looking to enjoy days in the outdoors. Gyrn Ddu and Gyrn Goch are both accessible by foot for day hikes too!

For something a little more leisurely, take a trip on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway (30 minutes). The narrow gauge steam train will take you on a journey through 14 miles of forest and farmland.

If you want to learn more about the local history, visit Caernarfon Castle (15 minutes). Built in the Middle Ages, the castle enjoys views over the River Seiont and is home to many local legends too!
