The beach and forest are on hand and Snowdonia's misty mountains make the perfect backdrop. Get a taste for all things local at the Marram Grass Restaurant, have a game in the table tennis room or play on the field and set out to discover nearby Newborough Warren, Forest and Llanddwyn Island from your base.

About the site

The snaking coastline and Llanddwyn Beach are a mere five minute hop in the car, or you can enjoy a 1.4 mile scenic walk via Newborough Warren and Forest from your base. For the cycling enthusiasts Newborough Forest hosts the Corsica Bike Trail which leads to the Lon Las Cefni Cycleway. Views of the Snowdon Mountain Range are stunning from the site. The first rays of morning sun trickle through the gaps between the mountains, lighting the camp throughout the day before falling away to the west at night, its final rays lighting Caernarfon and the mountains as it falls. Camping and touring is within three acres of flat land sheltered by conifer trees. Pitches are spacious and you can choose between 16-Amp electric or non electric options on grass or six hardstanding serviced pitches. White Lodge Cottage has three double ensuite rooms which can be rented out as a whole or each room can be rented separately too.

Site facilities include two ladies showers and four toilets, two gents showers, two toilets and a urinal as well as a dishwashing area. Laundry available. Onsite there is a children's play area, table tennis room and large playing field (opposite) for guests.

Site rules and policies

* Most 6 person tents (6m) will fit on othe pitches - for excessively large tents 2 pitches may be needed

*Arrival time between 1.00-8.00 p.m. and departure before 11 am.

*Extend your departure time to 5.00 p.m. for £7.00 - only available if your pitch is free. (Not available during high season).

* Bookings with single occupancy eligible to a 15% discount off the pitch price - ask upon booking.

* Amendment to bookings are subject to an admin fee of £10.00

* Refunds are not available

Itching to hit the waves? Kitesurfing is huge here, with some of Anglesey's beaches being the best for it. Or you might be ready for some surfin' style? When it comes to water sports, whatever your bag, there's a place to do dive into the water and do it.

Cycling and Walks in and around Newborough Forest are on your doorstep.

The expressway makes all the Island temptingly accessible, plus you can zip off to the Bangor, Caernarfon, Llyn Peninsula easily.
