About the site
One of Time Out's top UK campsites, this award-winning campsite invites you to get back to nature. Set in the fringes of ancient woodland on a family-run farm, you can enjoy escaping the stresses of day-to-day life. The farm occupies a closed valley, so there is very little traffic noise to disturb your break, you really feel like you're getting away from it all despite only being ten minutes from Crewkerne. Offering 16 camping pitches, bell tents, and a rooftop tent on a Land Rover trailer, you can find the perfect spot for your next trip. Each pitch has its own unique character, set in a variety of different settings across the site. Choose from the shelter of 100-year-old Beech trees, beside the babble of a limestone stream or on the edge of the wildflower meadow. Each camping pitch has its own compost toilet, seating area and fire pit with grill. All pitches are spacious, with some having room for a pup tent alongside your main tent. Five pitches are also suitable for small campervans, rooftop tents or trailer tents. Some pitches can also accommodate hammocks or suspended tents between the trees. Tree tops Land Rover rooftop tent sleeps up to two, and offers kitchen equipment, linen, and towels, with space for a small extra tent or hammocks. The 7m bell tent comes fully furnished with everything you need for your stay, including a comfy super king-sized bed and two single beds, linen, fluffy towels, and an outdoor kitchen with cooking equipment. You will have access to private facilities too. A part-furnished 5m bell tent is also available, featuring a double bed, two singles, and a clear roof view for stargazing. Please bring your own camping equipment and bedding. Tents range in size and sleep from two to five guests. Please note that the site is dog free.
