About the site

This scenic seven acre site is surrounded by fields and lined by mature trees, great for those looking for a countryside escape. Set on a working arable farm, you might spot the odd tractor rolling past! The site offers 55 pick-your-own non electric grass pitches in the main field, so you can find where suits you best. The grass pitches are suitable for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes, allowing up to six guests and measuring a minimum of 12m x 12m. In the Menage Field, you will find 3 gravel pitches without electric and 10 gravel pitches available with 16 amp electric hook up and beautiful countryside views. They are 10m x 10m and suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Sorry, no campfires and no gazebos on the gravel electric pitches. You will be provided with a real camping experience with space to relax, surroundings to explore and a peaceful break from your daily routines. With an enchanting ten-acre private woodland attached to the campsite, it's perfect to enjoy some adventure with your family and a great place for an off-lead stroll with your dog. We're a very peaceful site, no music is allowed to be played at anytime to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone staying. This is also a great spot if you're a keen walker, with footpaths straight from the site leading you into the stunning Kent countryside. Shepherdswell Village is also located on the North Downs Way, making the site a popular stopover option for backpackers taking on the trail. Complete your experience around a campfire (on the main grass camping field), toasting marshmallows and gazing up at the night sky to spot shooting stars, the onsite firepit and log shack will have everything you need! The local tourist hotspots, such as the White Cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle, the City of Canterbury and the beach, are all only a 15 minute drive away. A short drive from Dover Ferry Port also makes this site an ideal place to stay before or after a ferry crossing. Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch.

Grass pitches are open from 22nd May to 13th September and gravel pitches are open from 2nd April to 27th September. Pitches from £30/night for 2 people.

Lovely campsite with a very helpful and friendly manager on site. The facilities spotlessly clean and the woods and off lead dog area were much appreciated. 25 minutes to le shuttle the next morning. A very nice stay and would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to begin or end your trip through South England and Wales

A note from the site themselves...

As big fans of camping ourselves, it's been a fantastic opportunity to set up our own campsite. We've been very thoughtful about all the detail onsite. We've used our own camping experiences to create a campsite that is basic but very well-considered to make sure it's the best experience for all our guests.

Spacious pitches, clean facilities and friendly smiles are always at the forefront of what we do - we let the beautiful countryside do the rest. The local village is very close to our hearts, Mark grew up in the Village and we're now raising our young family here.

We hope you enjoy our campsite!
