About Wildflower Wood at Beersheba Farm

This is a peaceful eco-glamping site where you'll find just five charming glamping pods. Close to all the coastal and rural attractions of West Cornwall, it's an enticing base. The five Landpods are set in the woodland - Gwithian and Godrevy have views through the trees towards the sparkling sea and beaches of St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse, while Towans has a generous pitch size set a little lower with views towards the bay. Saltings sits on the eastern side of the woodland - best for spectacular sunrises whilst Trencrom is more central with mainly woodland views. All Landpods have private bathroom facilties including a shower, sink and toilet, all located within the main facilities area, with the exception of Trencrom, which is the only unit to have a bathroom next to the Landpod. Gwithian is the closest Landpod to the main facilities. Only Saltings and Towans accept one dog, while other pods are pet free. The cosy glamping pods (sleeping a max of four adults or five with a child) have two 4' double beds with memory foam mattresses, that sit on top of each other. There is ample comfy upholstered bench seating (which doubles as an extra single bed suitable for a child in Gwithian and Saltings only). Inside they're lit with LED lighting and there are USB charging points. Warm, weatherproof and cosy, these glamping options have insulated roofs, carpet and astroturf flooring, sealed double glazed windows and panelling within their wooden frame. Lift up roofs will show you the stars or a stunning sunrise through the leaves. Peek through the trees at the bay and the lonely lighthouse from your bed! Outdoor cooking facilities and fire pits really put you in touch with nature. Each Landpod also has a picnic table, log benches and plenty of room to pitch your camping chairs. A covered outdoor kitchen with double gas hob, and a fire pit with tripod grill are provided. Logs and barbecue briquettes available to buy on site. Cooking and kitchen equipment and crockery sets are available to hire.

Wildflower Wood at Beersheba Farm is open from 18/04 to 01/10.

Facilities and amenities

Each Landpod has its own private washroom with sink, toilet and shower. These are provided in an outdoor facilities area close to the Landpods and the waterless toilets are modern, cleaned, disinfected, emptied and fresh for each new booking. They also each have off-grid LED lighting and USB charging points for mobiles.

Trencrom is the only Landpod to have an adjacent private bathroom. In addition to the covered outdoor kitchen and firepit/tripod grill with your pod, there is a shared washup area with shared fridges and a hot water washing up sink. Mains water taps are also supplied.

Duvets and pillows are available to hire or you are welcome to bring your own.

Each unit features a covered outdoor kitchen area with a fire pit and grill, with firepacks and cooking equipment available to pre order. There are picnic tables and log benches to use, along with a washing up area and fridge space in the facilities area. Onsite there are two e-bikes available to hire.

The Una Kitchen restaurant is an easy ten minute walk from the site, and the closest shop is reachable by a 20 minute walk.

A note from the site themselves...

Wildflower Wood is such a special place. It's a little pocket of peaceful woodland with views over St Ives Bay.

It's about the simple things - waking up and seeing the lighthouse across the bay from your bed, listening to the early birdsong with your first cuppa of the day, spending the day on the beach, cooking dinner over an open fire, toasting marshmallows and laughing around the campfire, watching the stars above you through the treetops.

It's slowing down, listening to nature, playing with sticks, saying hi to the horses, walks in the countryside, special time with loved ones.

We love ensuring our guests enjoy a complete change of space and pace.

We have loved living here for over 20 years, and now we can share it with you!

Pod - Godrevy Landpod (Pet Free)Aug 2023

We had a fantastic 5 nights at Wildflower Wood (my husband and I and our two boys, aged 10 and 5). There are only 5 pods at the site and they are spaced out really well so you feel you have your own space and privacy. The pods are cosy and the beds were comfortable. The covered kitchen area was great, especially when we had wet weather, and it looked really pretty with the fairy lights around it. We loved sitting round the fire in the evenings. It was such a peaceful location. Having your own shower/toilet was great - it was clean (and cleaned during our stay too) and the shower was hot, perfect! We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return next year.

Highly recommended

Pod - Godrevy Landpod (Pet Free)May 2023

Wildflower Wood was more than we expected! We were lucky enough to be there whilst the bluebells were in full bloom, which was picturesque. Location to St Ives town & beach and other beaches was walking distance (if you like a good walk), offering a beautiful balance of being out in the wilderness but close enough to civilisation & vibrancy to enjoy the best of both! Host was super sweet & helpful! They had thought of everything from the eco friendly super high/low tech toilets to fairy lights around the kitchen area! We only spent two nights here, but could have done more and definitely intend to return. If rain is forecast I recommend ear plugs to block out the pitter patter on the roof whilst sleeping. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Special place for any occasion

Pod - Gwithian Landpod (Pet Free)May 2023

If you have ever wanted to get into camping, Wildflower Wood is the best place for your first introduction. It has every bit of ease, with a twist of experiencing the outside safely. Everything has been thought about: from shampoo in the shower, to a greeting sign on the ledge of your pod. It's a magical place to bring the family together, or for a romantic getaway for a surprise marriage proposal. The site has 5 pods yet each pod is so secluded from one other. The beach is a 5-minute drive: we parked at Carbis rail station, costing £4.50 for the day. There is a big Tesco, 5 minutes the other way and also an Aldi and Lidl within a 15-minute drive. Andrew and Vicki are kind and very accommodating, checking that you are ok everyday and dealing with requests straight away. Take extra clothes for the cool mornings and evenings, and enjoy your time there.
