About the site
A simple and rustic site on a friendly farm near the village of Waldron (20 minute walk) in East Sussex. The site offers a back to nature feel - where the kids can be kids and adults can relax in a deck chair with a glass of something around the campfire!
Camping is on a three acre field with a small area of woodland. Whether you want an open pitch with stunning views or a more secluded spot, the choice is yours.
The farm is happy to have tents, campervans and caravans and can also arrange to hire bell tents for glampers if requested.
It's a great spot for a family camping trip, a group of families or friends. There has been everything from school class camping trips to groups of mums wanting their kids to run outside all day!
Why not hire the whole field for a special occasion - in the past the Heronsdale Manor has hosted birthday parties, family occasions and several weddings.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but guests must know that this is a working farm, with tractors, machinery and livestock in adjacent fields.

A note from the site themselves...
We fell head over heels for our charming home, raising our own families right here, and it's made us passionate about sharing this slice of paradise with others. Having grown up running wild ourselves, we think it is a great way to experience the countryside.
You'll catch us and our friendly farmhands hard at work, tending to our cattle, ploughing fields, and gearing up for harvest time. And let's not forget the occasional dash to avoid those cheeky runaway chickens!
So, pack your sense of adventure and get ready to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of our countryside. We can't wait to share the magic of our farm with you. Happy camping, Lizzie

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024
The site was nice, remote, peaceful and had no light pollution. The facilities were basic but good, with nice showers and an area to wash up. Loved the fire pit and log idea
