Winters Farm Certificated Site offers breathtaking views out over Lyme Bay and a cosy secluded Hideaway Site. Also well placed near local amenities, it is only 1 mile off the A35 at Raymond's Hill and provides a fantastic base for exploring the the winding lanes of Devon and Cornwall along with historic elements of the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis.

About the site

This dog-friendly site is gently sloping and has amazing views, plus great dog walks available nearby. BBQs are permitted and a strong family-friendly ethos is maintained. There is plenty of easy access for touring vehicles. There are two hardstanding pitches available and and up to 10 grass pitches suitable for tents and campers. All have electric hook ups and access to mains water. There is a chemical waste disposal point and the site is both close to the Jurassic coast and surrounded by luscious green countryside. The nearest pub and shop with post office is only a 10 minute walk away on the A35 at Raymond's Hill. Large fields are available nearby suitable for playing cricket and football. You'll find yourself in an excellent area for walking and cycling, together with many good pubs and restaurants within easy reach.

The site is open from Easter until the end of October.

Things to do on site and in the Lyme Regis area

One of the top attractions of Winters Farm is its location on the Jurassic coastline. Be sure to walk along the coast, try the sand beach at Lyme Regis that is popular with visitors and do some fossil-hunting. Kids will love the idea that they are walking in the footsteps of dinosaurs.

It's also possible to swim at local beaches, make sandcastles and paddle in rock pools, but beyond that there are also fishing and golf facilities nearby.

Lyme is a short drive away and a pleasant 40 minute walk along footpaths and a bridleway. Excellent walks and cycling are in plentiful supply too, around both East Devon and Lyme Regis, so active campers will love exploring.
