Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Sep 2023

Site was perfect for us as it was close to Princes Risborough, where our event was held. Beautiful location with great views. So peaceful we stayed on an extra night. Friendly and helpful staff in the lovely farm shop. Can't wait to do it all again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Tent Pitches (The Old Apiary Field)Apr 2024

The campsite is in a beautiful area with great views of surrounding hills! The facilities are well maintained and in great range of the campsite! The farm shop and cafe located a 30 second walk from the campsite is wonderfully stocked. Breakfast by the fire was very much welcomed after a cold night in the tent! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and were on hand to give us advice/suggestions on some great walking areas!

Ok but my night was noisy

Small Tent - Non Electric Tent Pitches (The Old Apiary Field)Sep 2023

Absolutely loved our stay. Unfortunately, they don't have plugs in the showers or toilets to charge phones. However, there are some plugs in their outside café, so don't worry. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing and the quality of the bacon and sausage from the farm was amazing 🤩 Definitely recommend and perfect for if you're visiting Harry Potter studios, with is a 30 minute drive. You can also purchase fire pits, grills and wood from the site, or pre book them.

Large Tent - Premium Non Electric Tent Pitches (Fallow Field)Aug 2023

We had a fantastic weekend over the bank holiday despite the heavy showers. The site was lovely and clean with good facilities. It would have benefitted from more showers, toilets and washing up stations. Each area would benefit from a table and more hooks to hang things up, but what was there was clean and well looked after. The team were keen to help with drying out after the heavy shower. The cafe was lovely with a good selection of food. Would benefit from a shop selling milk, bread and camping essentials as well. Lovely to have a fire pit for evening fires and marshmallows. Great to see the pigs and chickens each day.

Nicely laid out and clean, hot showers. However, there were noisy kids and the café is not open on Mondays. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and well presented site

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Apr 2023

Location wasn't a problem for us as we are local. Quite a flat and exposed campsite... but that is its only downfall. Wonderfully clean and well maintained facilities. Very practical. Farm shop and cafe are excellent. One content adult and one very happy 6 year old.

Bell Tent - Anne's Acre Bell TentsAug 2022

Lovely farm with friendly staff. However, we were next to very loud family who thought they were at a festival. Our 4 year old was upset because he couldn't get to sleep. They were chatting loudly and singing along to music. They did quieten down slightly after the curfew but it was still loud chatter. We had come for a bit of peace away from London - people can have fun but I felt they showed no respect. At 4am onwards on both nights, there were loud dogs barking from a nearby field. Not sure what it was, but sounded like lots of dogs barking and howling. It kept us awake.

Really nice but basic

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Jul 2022

Really nice location with farm shop and cafe. Really popular and busy which meant the facilities were struggling to cope. Recommended though- would return.

Quiet hours not adhered to

Small Tent - Non Electric Tent Pitches (The Old Apiary Field)Jul 2022

In comparison to other campsites, this one should be cheaper because that was what it looked like. But especially the lack of oversight that people were not quiet after 10:30pm. Although these were the rules, eventually it was only quiet after midnight.

Wonderful!

Such a lovely campsite. The kids absolutely loved it, space for them to run about and areas to play. There are pigs, sheep and chickens. Clean and tidy facilities- toilets, shower and washing up area. All staff very friendly and the cafe is lovely. Good sized and well organised plots. Will definitely be back!

Bell Tent - Anne's Acre Bell TentsSep 2021

Luxury camping at it's finest. The bell tent easily accommodated 4 adults, and was beautifully laid out for us. The firepit was great for the evening, and there was plenty of space around our pitch. Great café and shop. The cooked food offered in the evening was rather limited so we chose to eat at a nearby pub one night, and cook our own on the other night. Pleasant views across the Vale to the Chiltern hills, where we enjoyed a lovely circular walk to from the campsite. The campsite itself is not near any busy roads, which made for a quiet location. Toilets/showers and washing up areas were clean and well kept. Campsite owner very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and I'm sure we'll be back.

Bell Tent - Anne's Acre Bell TentsAug 2021

The dogs from another village are very noisy, otherwise it is a lovely campsite. Everything is clean, and the shop and restaurant are very convenient.

Site's response

Dear Mar Thank you for taking the time to review us. The dogs you mention belong to the local Hunt and do sometimes get a bit vocal for a very short period of time during feeding times. We do mention this on joining instructions. I am glad you enjoyed our excellent cafe/restaurant, shop, butchery and bar, we will be looking to expand this offering next year. We do hope to welcome you all back to Orchard View Farm in 2022. Best wishes James Owner of Orchard View Farm
