About Tamarisk Cornish Holidays
Set in 30 acres of countryside, this peaceful glamping site offers an idyllic rural getaway. Just a 15 minute walk from a pub and shop, surrounded by wonderful walking routes, you can enjoy a relaxing stay without even having to get in the car. The Kerensa Cabin is a cosy shepherd's hut-style cabin designed for two guests. Inside you will find an open-plan living area with a double bed, a small kitchen with a kettle, fridge, toaster and sink, and a table and chairs for enjoying your morning coffee. There is also an ensuite shower room, along with a TV with Netflix and a DVD player, heating and WiFi. Outside of the cabin is a private, wrap-around decking with a table and chairs. For evenings in the open, there is a BBQ grill along with a wood burning hot tub. For groups of up to three, the Ivy Rose Cabin comes with a double bedroom with a memory foam mattress and an optional sofa bed. The open plan space comes with heating and a small kitchenette, equipped with a double electric hob, kettle, toaster, small tabletop oven, under counter fridge freezer and butler sink. For cosy nights in, there is a large Smart TV and WiFi. Outside of your cabin, there is a large private decking area, which comes with outdoor furniture, a fire pit and a hot tub with unspoilt views over the surrounding farmland. The Tamarisk Cabin is the largest of the three, featuring two separate bedrooms, an open-plan living space, and a spacious bathroom, accommodating up to four guests. Outside you will also have the luxury of your own sauna and hot tub! Dogs are also welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two allowed per cabin.
Tamarisk Cornish Holidays is open all year round.
Each cabin has its own ensuite facilities and hot tub. Food boxes are also available to pre-order. There is a small onsite farm shop where you can buy local produce. Fresh-baked pastries are also available to buy.
The nearest shop is Wainhouse Country Store, a 15 minute walk away. You will also find The Old Wainhouse Inn a 15 minute walk away, serving both food and drink.

A lovely cabin with a fire burning hot tub. My partner and myself stayed here for a quiet childless weekend away and we had a great time. With beaches and coastal walks only 15-20 minutes away by car, the location was ideally suited for things to do in the day and then to relax in the evening. We used the images on Campsites.co.uk to plan our food, as there is no oven but there are two hobs, so the cabin had just what we needed for a weekend. Sophie the host was very kind and helpful. She text us before we arrived and even added wood to our fire on our first evening in order to keep our hot tub burning after we tried to get a takeaway in Bude but it took over an hour to cook. We would highly recommend Tamarisk Cornish Holidays and are likely to book again.

Was a lovely stay here, great location and the cabin itself was cosy also had everything you need. Felt very welcoming, would definitely come back again for a little getaway! Would highly recommend this.

We honestly had the best stay over the bank holiday weekend! The owner was so helpful when I booked the wrong dates originally and changed them for us without any fuss. We travelled 15 minutes to Widemouth Bay beach and even did the journey to Newquay and Perranporth in an hour which was worth it plus we picked up a takeaway on our way back! We had our dog with us as well so completely family and dog friendly! We will definitely return and will recommend to all family and friends who want to go to Cornwall.
