Arch Lane Camping is a seasonal campsite located in the heart of stunning West Cornwall, almost equidistant between the north and south coasts. The site offers a back-to-basics camping experience. No formal pitches just turn up, pick your spot, and relax. A separate four acre field is available for football, frisbee and dog walking.
About Arch Lane Camping
Situated on the national cycle way, the site is the perfect stopover for those touring the south west on bikes, or a short detour for those following the coastal footpath. This is the sort of site the owners would look to stay at - plenty of space, dog friendly and only the necessary facilities. Who needs more when you have the glorious Cornish Coastline to explore during the day. No WiFi, no formal entertainment, no fuss. The site is geared to be as sustainable and eco friendly as possible with recycling facilities on site, minimal fuels used and a very low impact on the land which is used for a hay crop each year before returning to a campsite during the summer. The main camping field is part of a set of three large fields so there is plenty of space for everyone to play and enjoy the freedom of the countryside. Pitches are on grass and non allocated and cater to tents and small campervans.

Facilities include eco loos, off grid showers, running water, recycling point.
Nearby is a filling station with a shop (approx 10 minutes walk) and the local train station is a 15 minute walk.

Things to do on site and in the Crowlas area
Nearby on both the coasts are a range of sporting activities from paddle boarding to surfing. Marazion offers a world renowned SUP hire and tuition venue, whilst the north coast offers some top class tuition at the various surf schools.
The Minack Theatre on the cliffs at Porthcurno offers a unique opportunity to see a play performed with the setting sun as a backdrop as well as the chance of seeing dolphins surfing the distant waves.
Lands End, the most Westerly point in the country, offers stunning views towards Cape Cornwall and beyond.
The Lizard Point, the country's most southerly point is a true gem and has a lovely village that's well worth a visit with the much photographed Kynance Cove just a short walk away.
The main towns of Hayle, Penzance or St Ives are just a 10-15 minute drive away.
The site is close to the park and ride of the picturesque town of St Ives, a short 20 minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the historic St Michael's Mount.
