Brilliant campsite, a little bit of a drive to Falmouth, but hey what can you do? Very busy over the weekend, possibly need more toilets and shower. Other than that, brilliant.

Some of the best views of any site I have been to ever. Two minor niggles. The shower push button interval is annoyingly short, please can you increase the duration of the interval needed to reactivate the flow? Also please put up a sign to inform where the freezers are presently located. Men will not look in the entrance of the Female Toilet/Shower Block, it's the last place they would expect to find them, I am assuming they will move to the communal area as the season ramps up? Other than that all good!

Really lovely location, great views overlooking the sea. Could camp anywhere as it was off-peak. Very clear instructions from owner. Clean toilets and sink area. Really lovely stay.

Very good. All clean and a beautiful site. I just wish the shower stayed on longer as it was hard to keep pressing when showering as the button was off to the side but that was only minor. Overall, it was brilliant.

Fantastic site that met all our needs! Amazing views, very peaceful - couldn't recommend it more. The only small downside was the showers that only stayed on for 2 seconds after you pressed the button (which we found very frustrating). For future camper's comfort, please fix this! 10/10 would stay again!

Lovely, grassy campsite in a field overlooking Falmouth with views of the sea. Friendly staff. Could do with more showers and washing up facilities but it looks as though this is being addressed with a new building.

We have stayed here before (many years ago) and we love the location… the view is amazing! This time we were a little disappointed. While there are plenty of toilets and showers for the ladies, for whatever reason only 3 showers and 3 toilets were open, leaving big queues and causing them to get dirty quickly. Another thing I found disappointing is that the washing up facilities and fridge were in the ladies toilets, meaning people were washing up and brushing teeth in the same sink.

We had an absolute wonderful stay, the views were beautiful & facilities spot on, simple but suitable, everything we wanted. We loved the little play park & visits from the naughty sheep! We sat in the evenings listening to owls and early in the morning we had a visit from a little deer! My children absolutely loved it and made lots of friends & they didn't want to leave. Perfect location, minutes drive away from beaches & not far from Falmouth where my daughter is at University. We were lucky to have great weather. We will most definitely be back. Only thing I would say is no washing up space in the men's room. Therefore, if men were to do the washing up or any washing, they had to go in the ladies loo, so may be better if there was a communal space or facilities in the men's too.

The site was in a perfect location, and the weather was superb too. The views were amazing, and lovely to see the farmers and combine harvesters at work. Enjoyed our stay.

6 of us and a dog spent 4 nights there and we had really good time. Close to beaches, Asda, and Falmouth with nice places to walk around and the campsite itself was really relaxing. People who run the place were super nice and helpful to us including lending the power adaptor for the power point. Definitely would come back again.

Beautiful location, very peaceful site, not far to small beaches. Only negative was push button showers could have stayed on longer.

I spoke to Nicola over the phone before we arrived as I knew we would be late getting to the campsite. She could not have been more helpful. Met her in person the next morning and she could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The site is in a beautiful setting on the hill over looking Falmouth. Very secluded and plenty of space for free range kids.

A lovely view but extremely basic facilities. I wouldn't have minded basic clean facilities if the price matched what was on offer but in this case, we regretted booking two nights as felt we were paying too much. We would not return or recommend in particular. There did not seem to be adequate washing up facilities or any hot water for washing up so for a long stay, this would be a bit of an issue too.

Idyllic campsite on the farm, with clean facilities. I wanted a small campsite in the countryside with simple facilities, near the beach and a pub and that is exactly what I got. There are gorgeous views to the sea, many birds, and incredible stars at night. This is a good spot if you'd like to feel you are 'wild' camping somewhat, but you'd like to do it legally and without hassle. Friendly host who let us know that if we got stuck in the car (it'd been raining heavily) that a tractor would happily come and pull us out!

A beautifully relaxed stay at Penwarne. We were free to select our own pitch and chose one with an amazing view of the sea. In fairness it would be hard to choose one that didn't have an incredible view. The site is very relaxed with few rules and regs, which lends itself to a very peaceful experience. The facilities were basic but everything we needed. We particularly loved the free grazing sheep, which wandered right up to the tents so dogs do have to be very well behaved and under control at all times - our cocker took an initial interest but very soon became used to them and then paid little or no attention to them. The site is a little exposed, on high ground which affords great views but can get a bit windy so be prepared with some extra tent pegs and ropes. We had a wonderful restful stay and would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all and we will definitely be returning again. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

The campsite is in a lovely location with beautiful views. The field is enormous so there's plenty of space. The facilities are good, but they need to be cleaned more often.

I visited here in August 2021 with my granddaughters and we all had a wonderful time. The girls made friends, laughed, played, spent time in the fort in the dark and it was safe for them to do this (I could see and hear them). To see them going out in the morning in their pyjamas and wellies, excited to see their friends and coming back in the evening tired but excited for the next day was wonderful - obviously they returned during the day and did get dressed! I felt secure because I could see and hear them which made it a very relaxing holiday for me. We visited again this August (2022) and we all had as much fun. Such a wonderful site - just natural fun and no 'entertainment' except the ones we made ourselves, no noise except for children and adults laughing. The café serves food which is reasonably priced, as too are the lollies. My only concerns are the 'improvements' that the site has made. The shared washing up area with the sinks that are too high (for me and I am 5ft 5) and flood your feet, this area is not in keeping with the rest of the site. The showers and toilets - changed from last year. Not working properly, having to hold some shower buttons or the water would go off. Not a pleasurable experience when you are trying to wash your hair. Cleanliness was pretty poor this year. Lots of toilets shut or blocked. Not as clean as last year. cost seemed to double from last year. I had the same size tent, the same amount of people but I paid £30 per night for a piece of grass (no electricity). I would not hesitate to return to this site as I love it as do the girls. My only concern would be a further rise in cost and a further reduction of services (showers, toilets, cleaning, washing up facilities).

Nothing was too much of a problem and the café on site does amazing pizzas to order.

A site with some good potential (views, play park, cafe (not that we used it) but extremely rough around the edges. Ample facilities but extremely tired and very unclean (we visited a swimming pool one one occasion purely to shower elsewhere). Washing up facilities were ok, but no hot water and no lighting - take a head torch and a full kettle. Pitch wise - some looked great (and the view is wonderful!) but I think we were unlucky with ours as we were next to several very full bins and open drainage near the washing up area. The smell was extremely foul, it did improve slightly part way through our trip once the bins were emptied but was very much still there. Due to the smell alone, we spent trip away from the site and only returned late in the afternoon/evening which was a shame. We also used plug in air fresheners. Lovely little play park for the children and the sheep & calves were a nice attraction (as country bumpkins ourselves we didn't mind the farm smell or roaming sheep but just be mindful there is sheep poo around!) The cost of our trip was very reasonable & 'you get what you pay for' however, the basics really do need a little attention.

I'm hoping they will improve the facilities such as the dish washing area. There is also no hot water and lights at night time.

Facilities could be improved. The site is in a good location with lovely views, although this leaves in exposed to the wind and rain. Very easy going site, pitch anywhere if you don't want electric. The down side is that there is no hot water or lights in the washing up area and the men's washroom is inadequate for the number of people.

Sheep mess everywhere. I felt that the toilet drop was very dangerous. I would not recommend this site.
