One of the best value-for-money campsites in the area. The staff were great, facilities were ideal with very generous pitch sizes.

A basic campsite on a working farm. Able to pitch (non electric) wherever we chose which was nice. Lovely views, could be windy. Lambs roaming free (watch out for their mess!), baby calves. You can buy bags of food to feed them. Bottle feed calves daily at 9am or 5pm for £2. Toilet and shower block - very basic and could do with updating, but functional. Free hairdryer. Wet room. Washing machine & tumble dryer for extra charge. Ladies & gents areas separate, washing up area now on the other side of the barn area. Water refill station. Very small play structure, suitable for older children 7+ but there's not really anything for the younger ones. Café & small shop on site open whilst we were there. Fire pits for hire. Walk to the beach is not for very little ones, but is only a 10 minute drive to Maenporth. Falmouth very close by also. All in all, good basic site in a convenient location.

People were friendly and helpful. Pizzas are delicious and the kids were barely seen as they made friends and hung out by the park. A really great stay, centrally located with great views and staff! Kids barely wanted to leave site as they were having so much fun! A really lovely few nights! Thank you.

What a beautiful campsite, fabulous views. Lovely welcome on arrival, owners/staff readily available if any assistance needed. We had an electric hook up and large tent pitch, which was more than adequate in size. Shower block and toilets were kept as clean as possible, despite some users not taking care of the facilities. Washing machine/tumble dryer/freezer and small shop on site. Lovely to stay on a working farm and listen to the sheep nibbling on the grass near your tent at night! Very close to many places to visit, National Trust properties, kayaking, beaches, boat trips, seal sanctuary, donkey sanctuary, eating out. Lovely pubs, all within close proximity. Thank you, we had a wonderful time and will most definitely be back.

I will be the first to admit I was apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the more recent reviews. These suggested the facilities were not cleaned often and were not in good condition. However, having now stayed here for a week in all weathers (it threw it down half the week!) I can confirm this is a campsite, and if you are expecting facilities like in your home then you shouldn't be camping. Yes there were sections of the facilities that were open storage, but this is to be expected. Yes the floors were dirty, but it rained!! What would you expect to happen walking in off a muddy field? The showers were a perfect warmth and cleaned every day from what I could tell, with squeegy mops to clean wetter areas. Yes they were on short timers, but considering there were 6+ showers and the cost of energy is going up I can fully appreciate the need to ensure water isn't left on or wasted. If you don't like touching the floor, wear beach shoes, I did! Toilets were always clean and with toilet roll. If they weren't it's because someone didn't flush (likely a child, I'll be honest) rather than them not being looked after. If there were marks in the basin, these were gone by the next time I went. There was always hand soap to clean your hands and no one was washing up in the ladies toilets, there was even a sign to stop this. Washing up area was as you'd expect, outside. No there wasn't hot water, but it doesn't take much to put the kettle on the gas before you go over. From being genuinely concerned we weren't going to be comfortable on site to spending a day here because it was so comfortable, I can whole heartedly recommend the place. Louise was lovely and so hard working, always on site at the crack of dawn. It's a working farm so exactly what I expected before I delved into the reviews. If you are going to go camping, proper camping, in a tent with minimal electric and a gas cooker on a working farm in South Cornwall, don't expect it to be glamping. Perfect location, lovely hosts and clean facilities. Can't ask for more!

This campsite is ideal if you want basic facilities at a good price. The place is spacious and quite rustic (it is a working farm) and had the normal requirements like toilets, showers and a washing up area (which were all very basic but did the job if you don't mind rough & ready!) The site is situated in a beautiful area with great views, with lots of fab beaches and walks quite close - although it does say you can walk to the nearest beach at Maenporth but we felt it was a lot further than the 35 minutes so drove there and parked for £4 all day no problem. We will visit there again and would recommend it if you don't mind the lack of whistles & bells!

Clean. Central location and it felt safe. Great to be among sheep.

Pitch was fine. Toilets, shower and washing up facilities are what let this place down. Location is great though! The kids loved the sheep wandering around and the cockerel waking us up. Felt like proper camping. We requested a pitch next to our friends so we could share cooking equipment but they didn't oblige despite booking at the start of the year which was annoying. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Such a lovely campsite. Showers and toilets were fit for purpose. The kids loved the sheep roaming free & the baby calf by the play park! Felt lovely & safe for the kids to run free. The only thing I will say is the one occasion - I used the sinks for washing up and they were blocked with food & were in need of a clean. However, the rest of the stay we chose to boil water & wash our dishes at our pitch!

This is a lovely campsite, very spacious with stunning view of the sea. The staff are friendly and, although we had no children, it looked as if it was very child friendly and relaxed. One drawback was that sheep were allowed to graze amongst the tent area and weren't keen on tidying up after themselves! One request to the owners: please paint your speed bumps on the entrance track to the site white so we can see them! Other than that, it was an excellent site at a very good location.

Friendly & helpful staff, facilities need updating. The staff in reception were really helpful and friendly, they assisted us when necessary and were always available. The pitch size was great and we had amazing views of the rolling hills and the sea, which was also helped by the fantastic weather we had! The facilities are all there, showers, washing machine/dryer, café/shop and 4 washing-up sinks, but it all needs updating. The showers were hit and miss, sometimes all you got was a luke-warm dribble! There was no hot water to washing up sinks, so we had to get warm water from the toilet sinks and then carry it back (they were also usually left very dirty and messy but that is more the fault of other campers leaving them that way!). There were also no lights to washing up area, so if you got home from a day out and needed to wash up you had to use a torch. We enjoyed the addition of the shop with milk, beers, ice creams and the café for hot food, plus it was great to be able to hire a fire pit and wood. Overall we had a fantastic stay, beautiful surroundings and the sheep/calves on the field made us smile! We would certainly return in the future, especially if the facilities were updated as it is these that let it down. It would then get 5 stars from us!

The campsite was in a good location for catching up with some friends who were staying in nearby Helford. The hand wash in the ladies ran out the first day we were there and was not replenished until the next day and the rubbish skips were over full each day we stayed. We were horrified that there was a large bonfire, with smoke drifting across the campsite on the Saturday morning.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The sea view is bliss and the pizza was excellent. Really appreciated there being a freezer for any campers to refreeze their ice blocks.
