Treglisson is a small, rural site close to the town of Hayle, the A30 and the beaches of St. Ives Bay - with the nearest beachy spot less than 10 minutes drive away. Set up your tent or tourer on a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, and start enjoying your Cornish getaway. About Treglisson Touring Park
Treglisson is a sheltered and rural site, located just two minutes away from the town of Hayle in Cornwall. During school holidays the site is perfect for families, with play facilities offering endless fun for young children. Outside of holiday periods, however, the site is peaceful and makes for a perfect rural retreat. Many guests return again and again for the location and child-friendly atmosphere. The park's 26 pitches are set in a former orchard and are approximately 10m x 10m in size - large enough to accommodate tents (up to 7m), caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Twenty of these are on grass, with the remaining 6 on hardstanding. All have electric hook-ups. A further camping field with space for 8 tents is available during the school summer holidays Onsite facilities include licensed shop 'The Mine', which sells freshly baked pastries and local treats, including larger and spirits, for the grownups to enjoy! Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be on the lead at all times.
Electric pitches are available from March until 1st November, non electric pitches are available during the May half term, July and August.
The park's modern and high quality facilities include a fully tiled shower and toilet block, undercover dishwashing area, laundry, free WiFi, and a pantry with freezer and microwave for guests.
There is a small licensed shop, 'The Mine', selling the basics including bread, milk, eggs, sausages and bacon as well as local beers, spirits plus the essentials you may have forgotten like toothbrushes, shower gel and plasters.
Fresh croissants are available to order in the mornings. There is a play park and covered play area for children to enjoy.

I stayed there for 6 nights in July with my twin daughters who are 10. I felt very safe at the site. It had been raining most of the week and the facilities were kept spotless regardless of the rain and mud. Travelling with my girls, I did not feel unsafe at any point of our stay. Very relaxing, I would stay here again without hesitation and it's only a short drive to the nearest beaches and shops and bars.

Site rules and policies
We ask that people respect other people and behave in a manner that does not upset anybody else.
As a child friendly site we ask that noise after 11pm is kept to a minimum.
We also ask that dogs be kept on leads at all times on the site and that people do not use disposable BBQs because of the damage done to the grass.
Guests are asked to vacate the site on the day of departure by 11am and new arrivals should arrive after 2pm.
Things to do on site and in the Hayle area
The site is a very short drive from the beaches of St Ives Bay, Gwithian and Godrevy. It's also ideally located for visiting St Ives, Penzance and St Michael's Mount.
The nearest beach, Sandy Acres, is dog friendly.
You can walk to local golfing and the coastline is dotted with fishing villages that are well worth exploring.
Other nearby attractions include Land's End, the Eden Project, Flambards, and the RSPB reserve at Hayle Estuary.
