Stithians Lake is a family friendly campsite set on the banks of the stunning Stithians reservoir, perfect for watersport lovers. There are both non electric and electric grass pitches as well as a couple of glamping Lotus Belle tents for those wanting a little something extra. Not far from Falmouth, this is a great base for expxloring the Cornish countryside and coastline.

About Stithians Lake
A fun packed, watersport centric campsite set right by the 275 acre Stithians reservoir, perfect for families or groups looking to enjoy the fresh Cornish air or escape to the coast with Portreath Beach just a 20 minute drive away. There are non electric grass pitches and grass pitches with 16amp EHU, all of which are suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. There are an additional three Lotus Bell tents for up to four people in a double bed and two optional single air beds. Inside you'll have storage for clothes, solar lighting and a charging point and comfy beanbag seating. Please bring your own duvet, pillows and towels. Outside, you'll have a picnic bench with seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining. Crockery and cooking utensils cab be bough onsite and shared facilities are nearby. Stithians provides a great camping experience with outdoor adventuring, stargazing and exploring on hand whilst it is a great countryside base, it's not far to the coastline either. This is an AA graded 3 star campsite with a choice of electric and non-electric pitches, all set adjacent to the lake. The large and open grounds ensure that there is plenty of space to allow children to run and play freely. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on the lead.

The site has free hot showers, toilets, a baby changing room, washing machine, pirate themed children's play area and an onsite café.
It's a short drive into Stithians village if you need to stock up, and 100 yards from the campsite is pub/restaurant the Golden Lion.

Site rules and policies
Feel free to bring your own kit or rent it on site (however, guests must have third party insurance for their own water craft and those using their own equipment must pay a small charge on arrival. You can find out more about prices and policies in the Terms and Conditions). And as tempting as it might be to take a refreshing dip in the lake, swimming is not allowed...
Things to do on site and in the Redruth area
Visitors can try out a wide range of watersports with the help of qualified instructors at the Outdoor Active centre onsite. Windsurfing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, rowing, kayaking and walk-on-water balls are all on offer. Participate in a range of activities, or explore the lake by kayak, bike or foot.
Horticulturalists will discover plenty of inspiration at the nearby Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, and animal lovers will go barking mad over the seals, sea lions, otters and penguins at the National Seal Sanctuary in Helston.
A day trip out of the campsite gives access to Cornwall's iconic landmarks. Under an hour's drive is Penzance and Cornish beach towns Newquay and St Ives.
