About the site
This small campsite offers a quiet hideaway with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. There are clean flush toilets, free hot showers and undercover washing up facilities, communal fridge space, microwave and phone charging sockets centrally located in the middle meadow. There's even a small library of books to borrow. Fresh drinking water taps are located in every paddock. With just a small number of pitches, you won't be crammed in and you can pitch in a choice of three meadows - just pick your area when you arrive. There's plenty of space for your tent, campervan, gazebo and awning, though you may share the space with the odd resident rabbit, pheasant or passing deer! If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy what nature here has to offer then the location is perfect. Escape and enjoy the panoramic views across the Cornish countryside, the dramatic sunrise and dark, starry skies at night. Just a five minute drive or a 20 minute stroll to the village of Lanner. Here you will find a shop, bakery, pub and garage where you can buy logs and groceries or have a fabulous meal out. It's ideally located to explore Mid and West Cornwall, as well as the North and South Coast surfing beaches nearby at Porthtowan, Perranporth and Gwithian - to name but a few. There's a myriad of places to visit including St Michael's Mount, St Ives and Falmouth, within a short drive. You can also bring your gazebo and awning for no extra charge. Children aged eight and over are welcome and there is no extra charge for dogs. Firepits are allowed if raised off ground.
